E’Flash: Imam Bilal-Firmin p.k.a. E’ Flash a.k.a. The Eloquent Journalist developed a rhyming style that is similar to no other. Flash, a product of the 120 Taurus Buildings in Roxbury, MA always had an ear for music. After moving to Cambridge growing up on Boston legends like Ed-O.G., Guru, and R.S.O., Flash found a permanent home in the rap game. Flash is the feeling you get when a jet flies above you leaving your heart racing a thousand beats per minute. He is the unexpected; in these times if a jet flies over you, you won’t know whether to duck or run and that’s what Flash brings to the game, the unknown. Whether it is a different voice or a new style Flash will never give you too much of one thing. Flash brings a smoother/calmer style to match Vital’s raspy and more energetic flow. The Morris Brown graduate has plans to take NBS to the next level by way of experience, patience, and hot music.
V-Knucks: Rahim Muhammad p.k.a Rah Vital a.k.a. V Knucks a.k.a. The Fierce Analyst has come a long way since his childhood memories of pushing a big wheel in Madison Park Village, a town home complex in Roxbury, MA. In early elementary school he also moved to Cambridge and rapidly developed his own lyrics and raw style at the age 12. With influences such as Kool G. Rap and Nas, Vital’s flow ads raw/witty combination to compliment the more melo-dramatic style and voice of E’Flash. Vital, meaning important or essential sees himself as a vital part of today’s rap game. He has influenced many listeners from D.C., where he attached Howard U, to Japan via mp3.com. To this day he continues to inspire upcoming and established lyricist. Vital is what the industry is missing right now, his rhyme scheme is crazy and if let in the game he could easily be one of the best emcees to ever touch a mic!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if we, yeah
What if we
What if we had stuck around
What if I had held you down
What would we have found
What if we
Me and you having a baby
You my number one lady
What if we
Quit all the playing around
We just been waitin around, yeah
Ain't no debatin it now
I'm finna come lay you down, yeah
Whenever I come back in town
We goin round for round
Baby, tell me how does that sound
Take a trip to Pound Town
What if we
What if we had stuck around
What if I had held you down
What would we have found
What if we
Wouldn't it have been amazing
Me and you having a baby
You my number one lady, oh yeah
Cause that pretty brown, brown, brown
Is Drivin me wild
Drivin me wild
And I love when you fresh out the shower
Body wrapped up in a towel
Now I got you wrapped up for hours
Quit all that playin around
Don't get me waitin around, yeah
Ain't no debatin it now
I'm on the way right now, yeah
Whenever I come back in town
We goin round for round
Baby, tell me how does that sound
Take a trip to pound town
What if we, yeah
What if we had stuck around
What if I had held you down
What would we have found
What if we
Wouldn't it have been amazing
Me and you havin a baby
You're my number one lady
What if we
Quit all the playin around
We just been waitin around, yeah
Ain't no debatin it now I'm finna come lay you down, yeah
Whenever I come back in town
We goin round for round
Baby, tell me how does that sound
Take a trip to pound town
What if we
What if we had stuck around
What if I had held you down
What would we have found
What if we
Wouldn't it have been amazing
Me and you having a baby
You my number one lady, oh yeah
The lyrics to N.B.S.'s song "What We Love" portray a sense of longing and reflection upon a relationship that didn't work out. The song explores the "what if" scenarios of what could have been if they had stayed together. The singer wonders about the potential they had, expressing thoughts of regret for not holding their partner down and imagining the possibilities of starting a family together. The lyrics convey a mix of nostalgia, desire, and a desire to make amends for past mistakes.
The repetition of the phrase "What if we" emphasizes the contemplation and curiosity surrounding the relationship's potential. The lyrics also highlight the physical attraction and chemistry between the singer and their former partner, as they yearn to be intimate once again. The reference to going "round for round" and taking a trip to "Pound Town" adds a playful and sensual tone to the song.
Overall, "What We Love" captures the wistful emotions of regret and longing for a lost love, while also conveying a sense of hope for a possible reconciliation and a chance to create something beautiful together.
