In the last days get ready for the ten plagues
The end times were prophesied in the Bible

1st the rivers will be ran with red
The first plague will involve the turning of the Nile River into blood

2, 3, and 4 dead frogs will cause lice and flies
The second, third, and fourth plagues involve dead frogs, lice, and flies

Sick livestock is 5 the living they must fight for their lives
The fifth plague will involve diseased livestock

6, 7, and 8 a boil storms a fire and locusts
The sixth, seventh, and eighth plagues involve boils, hail storms, and locusts

9 is darkness so dark it's hard for you to focus
The ninth plague will be a darkness that obscures everything

And 10 is death of the firstborn
The final plague will involve the death of the firstborn child in every household

If I said it was questionable the religions would make it a point
If I doubted the Bible, religious people would argue with me

To get at me and battle me maybe have this verse torn
They might even try to censor this song

Perhaps the universe was formed through natural selection

I've been struggling with this issue for a long time and it's causing me pain

We can't predict what will happen after death, so I will prepare for any possibility

That's what life is and it's hard to handle
Life is full of uncertainty and it can be tough to deal with

When the bible says worship this by the scriptures written by man though
We are supposed to follow the Bible, but it was written by humans

So when man destroys us the word might not stand so
If humans destroy us, the teachings of the Bible may not be upheld

Till that day I'm just gon protect my fam with ammo
Until the end times come, I will do my best to protect my family from danger

I've been lookingfor something supernatural for a long time now
I have been searching for evidence of a higher power

But I never got proof that a spiritural realm existed wanted to find how
I have yet to find convincing evidence in support of a spiritual realm

Everybody sure of a supreme being, are people just seeing things?
People who believe in a higher power may be deluding themselves

Wondering if we get wings, seems sick to believe in an extreme king
The notion of angels with wings and a God who is all-powerful seems bizarre

I know it sounds far fetched, every night I put knees on the carpet
I acknowledge that my beliefs may seem crazy, but I still pray every night

Then I pray to who's up with the star set
I direct my prayers to a higher power beyond the stars

'cause the earth in its self is a target
The Earth is subject to destruction and harm

For destruction, for cumbustion
The Earth may be destroyed through fire and other causes

'cause there ain't too many you can trust in
It's hard to trust anyone in this dangerous world

Think of all the women losing their husbands
Many people have lost loved ones in war

In Iraq a lot of killing and suffering
Warfare has caused a lot of suffering and death

What I hope for, seems folklore
What I am hoping for seems like a fairy tale

When the enemy kills and gloat more
It's hard to imagine that a higher power is at work when we see so much cruelty in the world

'cause they killin us off in this hoax war
Apparently pointless wars are causing unnecessary death and destruction

Then I wake up yellin and my throats sore
These concerns keep me up at night and make me feel anxious

'cause the fight's there, its a nightmare
There is a constant battle between good and evil, and it feels like a nightmare

If it come to me I'm in my snipe wear
If I am ever forced to defend myself, I will be prepared

If a bullet give my lung a slight tear
If I am shot, even a minor injury could be life-threatening

I wanna believe that the light's there
I want to have faith that there is a higher power guiding us

So all you christians don't get mad at me
I do not mean to offend Christians with my doubts and concerns

I just hope that your mystical, magical miracle's workin catastrophies
I hope that the Christian belief in divine intervention is effective during times of crisis

And this ain't blasphemy, but artilery is my strategy
I am not trying to commit blasphemy, but I believe that violence may be needed to protect oneself

I hope for a higher power when I look at all these tragedies
The tragedies of the world make me hope that there is a higher power at work
