Dust
N.I.M. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

A diffuse being
The scattering of light
Crystallized reflections
Of what was
Of all my pain
Of all nothing
Harness the sorrow to me
Wither and wound
The pieces that will never heal
Leave me with the ruin and waste of what was
Leave me with nothing

See me fall forever
Through the colorless skies
The gray
And barren
Paint before me
The hollow and the dead inside

I throw myself into the cold, to the unforgiving
To the shades of bitter regret
To the tortured thoughts that nothing satisfies
I betray life
And bury your promise of happiness in the ancient grave of hope

Walk with me you, ghost of my sorrows
Lay with me
Down
In the dust of my grief

(Stir away now my weakness for I seek the tomb)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of N.I.M.'s "Dust" explore themes of pain, loss, and the struggle to move on from past trauma. The opening lines, "A diffuse being, The scattering of light," suggest a fragmented sense of self, with the singer struggling to piece together the remnants of their former life. The lines "Crystallized reflections, Of what was, Of all my pain, Of all nothing" further emphasize this sense of loss, with the singer grappling with memories of both positive and negative experiences.

The chorus, "See me fall forever, Through the colorless skies, The gray, And barren, Paint before me, The hollow and the dead inside," paints a vivid picture of emotional turmoil and despair. The use of colorless imagery and a barren landscape further add to the feeling of emptiness and hopelessness.

The stanza beginning with "I throw myself into the cold, to the unforgiving" suggests an attempt to move on from the pain of the past, but ultimately failing due to the overwhelming weight of regret and dissatisfaction. The final lines, "Walk with me you, ghost of my sorrows, Lay with me, Down, In the dust of my grief, (Stir away now my weakness for I seek the tomb)" emphasize the singer's inability to let go of their pain and move on, as they seek solace in the idea of embracing the finality of death.

Also I have used neem powder off and on for years now and I don't think it has ever caused me any problems .
It helped me when I was coming down with a bad middle ear infection where I couldn't move my head I couldn't get up or walk and I did a teaspoon and a big glass of water and laid back down .
About a half hour later way inside my ear was very hot and I knew it was attacking the infection and 2 hours after drinking it I was literally up and about in my kitchen cooking a meal for myself .
Decades before that when I had a middle ear infection it took at least two days before I started to see a little bit of results when I took a regular prescription antibiotic .
Also because I only did it that one time I felt the infection trying to come back a week later so I did more several times that week and it never came back .
You can brush your teeth with it to help get rid of bad breath and to help prevent cavities .
It's wonderful at getting rid of pimples and especially if they are coming from the candida which is from eating too many sugary things and yeast .
You can put a paste of it on insect bites , cuts , burns , pimples , rashes .. you can even put that paste on blackheads and it makes them vanish .
It is a powerful healer and natural antibiotic

neem leaf powder is as useful as fresh leaf paste.. but what if you cant have both due to unavailbility then try using planet Ayurveda's neem capsules

Hey does anyone have an insight into the impotency aspect?
Does it only kill the sperm cells, or does it also retard the sperm producing capabilities?
If yes, are the capabilities regenerated once dosage is stopped?

gardensofthegods

I never heard anything about it killing sperm cells but pregnant women should not take it because it can cause a miscarriage

The neem powder in your video is of beautiful green color. I have bought some neem powder an its color is more like brownish. Is this a natural variation or must neem powder always be green?

gardensofthegods

When I buy it it is a pale green but not an attractive green not a vivid green but I remember years ago the Indian Grocers having another brand that was brownish and I told them I felt it was inferior when they try to tell me it's from the dried leaves but I don't understand how green leaves when they are dried are going to turn brown so you might want to consider the possibility it could be inferior .
