Coyle released her debut solo album Insatiable and its title track was released on 8 November 2010 through her own label, Black Pen Records, in partnership with supermarket giant Tesco. In late 2017, she released her new single "Go to Work" on Virgin EMI Records. Although the record failed to chart on the Official Singles Chart, it did chart at number 57 on the Official Singles Sales Chart, which counts only paid-for sales in the UK, and at number 52 on the Scottish Singles Chart.
Raw
Nadine Coyle Lyrics

Locked away, so afraid, I was too exposed
Couldn't see, wouldn't feel, couldn't make a connection
With no control, I was low then I saw your face
You were true then I knew I could be embraced
Set me free to be me, no longer rejected
I let you take it all
You stripped me to the core
Your love has left me raw
Learn to fly, went so high, give me a set of wings
Took our time, we could climb, right into our dreams
I can feel, this is real, nothing has felt better
When we touch, felt a rush, I was almost scared
No pretence, so intense, I was unprepared
Felt so much with this love, there's no scale to measure
You left me raw
I let you take it all
You stripped me to the core
Your love has left me raw
You fill me up, with such a feeling
I didn't know I was needing so much more
You left me raw, you got me raw
You left me raw
I let you take it all
You stripped me to the core
Your love has left me raw
You left me raw
The lyrics to Nadine Coyle's song "Raw" appear to be discussing the idea of being vulnerable and exposed in a relationship. The singer was previously "numb" and detached from her emotions, but after meeting her lover, she was able to open up and be herself without fear of rejection. The usage of the word "raw" throughout the song could be interpreted as being stripped bare, revealing your true self without any filters or defence mechanisms.
The first verse touches on the singer's previous disposition to shutting out emotions and connections. She was "locked away" and "too exposed", implying a sense of discomfort and insecurity in her own skin. However, after meeting her love interest, the singer was able to let down her guard and truly connect with them. The second verse continues with the theme of newfound freedom, highlighting the intensity of the relationship and the rush of their connection. The chorus reinforces this idea with the repeated phrase "you left me raw", demonstrating the powerful impact the relationship has had on the singer's emotional state.
Overall, the song seems to suggest that relationships can bring both vulnerability and freedom. By being open and honest with each other, and embracing the rawness of their emotions, the singer and her partner are able to connect on a deeper level.

This album would have been a huge success without some strange Tesco thing. It's a bit of a shame that she chose to only release it through Tesco stores. :/ I mean, Nadine has an amazing voice and her writing skills are top notch. Just a better sale platform next time, babe. ;) Love this song anyway.
