Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Nahra's song "I'll Be Fine" are reflective of someone trying to move on from a heartbreak but finding it difficult. I’ve seen it before, Nick Page bought one and he agreed it was a good bag. I was surprised how good it looks considering the size and i am in love with the small size of that drone, compared to my phantom 4 pro it was annoying to carry and in result i never flied it as much as i would have liked. and i also love the bag. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Richard, I think it is worth the back order, i would get the 60 because it is better to have room for more stuff that you can use the bag for and it is expandable so doesn't make that much larger than the 40. right now all you have to figure out is which color to get :)

Fadi - I can't believe I missed this video, I normally watch all of your stuff so I don't know how this one slipped through the net, typical that it was this one when that you chose to do the selfie, which was excellent by the way! Yes i think you can probably fit your current ICUs in the Shimoda bag, but not sure, if it is the same specs it would work :) I was curious about F-Stop bag before Shimoda came out, once i heard about Shimoda and liked what i saw i just jumped right in and purchased it.

Yes if they put the same sensor in Phantom 4 Pro on the Mavic Pro II that would be really nice, i think they can do that, for sure it will be bigger but still small in comparison. Yup time will tell, i totally understand the going ballistic bit waiting for it.

Still didn’t ruled out Mavic Air it has all bells and whistles but the sensor should be better on MavicPro II but also should be bigger than first version, well time shows, already going ballistic to waiting for it...

Thanks, I believe it does with the newer laptops are smaller so a 15 inch might fit, I have a 13 inch MacBook Air and that fits for sure, but not 100 percent about 15 inch MacBook Pro. I recommend Contacting Shimoda I am sure they know for sure :)

Ian Millar Thanks! I had checked out the Kickstarter page but somehow missed scrolling down. User error! I really like the setup options with the small and medium core units. It is more versatile than purchasing one large unit for days when you don’t need as much gear or need more space for extras (clothing, food,etc). Well thought out!

I'm liking this bag, can you tell me on the back where you can adjust the straps to S, M, L, XL, do you consider that a weak point when you sling the bag onto your shoulder especially if it's full of your equipment, tripods etc, to me it undermines the bag as a single point of failure, would be a pity to bring down a $500 bag for a small little bit of webbing, irrespective of how sewn it is, any concerns there?

How comfortable is the Shimoda for long multi hour hikes with heavy loads of about 25-30lbs?

Most camera backpacks I've seen focus on gear protection/organization first and comfort as an after thought. Don't think I've seen anything that comes near the comfort of something from Osprey or Deuter in terms of backpacking/hiking.

i have used this bags a few times hiking since i got it and it is incredibly comfortable, and i usually carry two tripods and 2 camera bodies and 3 lenses and drone so the weight adds up and still very comfortable for hikes.

Is this bag good for traveling as a personal item or carry on ?

Hi both the 40 and 60 and Carry On roller will make it on a flight. BUT - you can't over pack them. You have to respect the airline limits. It is all about the frame size as that is the only non- adjustable part of the bag - and the frame is under carry-on requirements.

I think the 60L if full wouldn't pass as a carry on, but the 40L might, thats why i purchased it with the a carry on roller, and i can take out the ICU core units that have the important items and put them inside the carry on roller when traveling, and switch back to the backpack upon arrival. I would just check in the empty backpack in my suitcase. Hope that helps.

Which bag carries tripods better? Shimoda vs Peak Design?

Hey Jason, Both can carry a tripod on both sides, but the Shimoda bag in my opinion it is easier to mount tripod and get quick access to it, since it is held by straps and not a pocket. Just find it quicker, but both work well. in my case, since i carry two tripods, with the peak design bag i had no other room for more things if i attach two tripods so i used to carry one by hand. Also they aren't really the same bag, Peak Design is a great bag too but more for less adventure based travels, compared to Shimoda. Hope that helps.

you probably can because it says you can stuff a sleeping bag there, you can attach a tent to the outside of the bag with the straps. on the bottom of the bag.
