The lyrics of Nails's song Violence Is Forever depict the cycle of violence that is perpetuated by deep-rooted abuse and indifference. The marks that are worn symbolize the scars of abuse that are carried by victims, leading to an apathetic mindset that perpetuates violence. The reborn colossal stone represents the perpetuation of abuse across generations, leading to a vile and inhumane society. Primitive retribution and malevolent solutions further perpetuate this cycle of violence, resulting in the infiltration of a new spirit of divine hatred. The chorus lyrics emphasize the everlasting nature of violence, with silence being the catalyst that forced this war.
The second verse of the song Violence Is Forever continues the theme of violence, where the final death march leaves corpses in the dark depths, which signifies the ultimate price paid for the perpetuation of violence. The peace that is uncoiled serves to emphasize the absence of peace that exists in a society plagued with violence. Grotesque beings, soulless heathens, and the unleashing of hostility represent the brutal and hostile nature of the cycle of violence. Finally, the harvesting of hatred further reinforces the cycle of violence and the everlasting nature of violence as depicted in the chorus.
