In a cold room, where time stands still
The Nameless One is in a room that is cold and still, where time seems to have stopped.

Sleeps a frozen soul, a misshapen thing
The Nameless One is sleeping, but his soul is frozen and he feels misshapen.

Tiny spears of sunlight broke through the darkness
A few rays of sunlight entered the room and pierced his eyes, breaking through the darkness.

And impaled the eyes of this strange being
The sunlight caused pain to the Nameless One, who sees himself as a strange being.

He awakes from his slumber, opens his eyes
The Nameless One wakes up from his sleep and opens his eyes.

Nervous and tired he shakes his head
He feels nervous and tired, and shakes his head to try and clear it.

To avoid the rays of pure light
He tries to avoid any further sunlight, which he considers to be pure light and therefore painful.

He slowly painfully leaves his bed
Despite the pain, the Nameless One gets out of bed.

Now that his sleep was broken
Since he is now awake, the Nameless One's memories start to resurface.

A flame of memories began to spread
Memories from the Nameless One's past start to come to the forefront of his mind.

And with them came a vortex of pain
As he remembers more, the pain he has been feeling intensifies and becomes overwhelming.

That played havoc inside his head
The pain becomes so intense that it starts to affect the Nameless One's mental state.

Pain unbearable, an endless moment
The pain he is feeling is unbearable and feels like it will last an eternity.

Vortex commands him to recall
The intense pain is so powerful that it feels like it is telling him to remember something.

He twists in agony stumbles through the door
As the pain continues to overwhelm him, the Nameless One tries to escape it and stumbles through a door.

Into the unknown, until his fall
He enters an unknown place that leads to his fall.

Lying down on the ground
The Nameless One falls to the ground.

Too confused to look around
He is too confused to really take in his surroundings.

Forgotten memories are struggling
Memories that he has forgotten about are trying to resurface along with the pain.

To get out
These forgotten memories are trying to come to the surface, but he is resisting them.

He manages to lock them up
Despite the struggle, he is able to push these memories back and keep them locked away.

To somehow keep them at bay
He is doing his best to keep these memories at bay and not let them overwhelm him.

Vortex is slowing down
As he keeps these memories at bay, the intense pain starts to subside and the vortex of memories starts to slow down.

Pain and agony are fading away
The pain and agony he was feeling are starting to fade away.

He glances at this strange world
As the pain subsides, the Nameless One takes in his surroundings and sees that the world around him is strange.

There's something unpleasantly familiar around
Despite being strange, there is something that seems familiar to him but is unpleasant.

Utter darkness chills him to the bone
The darkness around him is absolute, and it sends shivers down his spine.

Light is now too far behind
The light he was trying to avoid before is now too far away from him to be a concern.

He looks behind into the warm light
Despite being scared of the light before, the Nameless One now looks back at it with fondness.

Somehow he prefers this chilling mess
Despite the darkness being scary, he somehow prefers it to the warm light.

With heavy thoughts upon his mind
Despite the pain subsiding, he is still weighed down with his memories and thoughts.

He steps deeper into the darkness
Despite the fear he has, he takes a step deeper into the darkness.

Now he is recognizing many different shapes
As he explores deeper, he starts to recognize different shapes and things from his past life.

He knew them once in his former life
Despite not being able to remember much from before, he recognizes these things from his past.

They made him feel calm and relaxed
The things he recognizes help him to feel calm and relaxed.

Peaces of lost memory folded without strife
The pieces of memory he has been able to recall start to fall into place without any struggle.

Then darkness assumes its form
The darkness around him starts to take on a form and shape.

A great hall of memories built upon his past
The darkness takes the form of a great hall of memories that are all from his past.

For the first time after countless years
For the first time in a long time, the Nameless One starts to feel joy and tranquility.

He felt joy and tranquility at last
Being surrounded by his memories, the Nameless One feels a sense of happiness and inner peace.

But a warning came from out of nowhere
Despite feeling happy, a warning makes itself known to the Nameless One.

A mute presence somewhere in his hall
The warning comes from a presence in the hall of memories, but it is not speaking.

He turns around and faces his fear
Despite being scared, the Nameless One chooses to face whatever is causing the warning.

A grotesque creature standing tall
The presence in the hall takes the form of a grotesque, tall creature.

Uglier than himself, huge and disgusting
Despite the Nameless One feeling misshapen, he sees that the creature is even uglier and more disgusting than he is.

It stares at him with its yellow eyes
The creature looks at the Nameless One with its yellow eyes, seeming to be studying him.

A dreadful monstrosity shrouded in chaos
The creature is a monstrous being, surrounded by chaos.

Stabs his soul with thousand knives
Despite the Nameless One not being physically harmed, he feels like the creature is stabbing his soul with a thousand knives.

Forbidden memories crushed their prison
The presence of the creature causes the Nameless One's forbidden memories to resurface and break through the locks he had on them.

Disappointments, sorrow and fatal mistakes
These forbidden memories are filled with feelings of disappointment, sorrow, and fatal mistakes from his past.

Although silent, the creature talks much
Despite not speaking aloud, the creature's presence is enough to cause the Nameless One to hear its words and feel its impact.

A living dream vision of a forgotten past
The creature feels like a living dream, and reminds the Nameless One of a past that he has forgotten about.

There is no fear pain or sorrow
Despite the memories being filled with negative emotions, the Nameless One feels none of them in that moment.

There's only strength, destruction and rage
Instead, he feels a sense of strength, destruction, and rage.

And they all found one target
All of these emotions and feelings are directed at one target.

A monstrous hideous visage
The target is a monstrous, hideous visage.

Blood poured out from me
As the target is attacked, the Nameless One starts to bleed.

As I gazed in disbelief
Despite being the one attacking, the Nameless One is filled with disbelief at what is happening.

Into the remains
As the battle rages on, the Nameless One looks into what is left behind.

Of a broken mirror
What remains is a broken mirror, symbolizing the Nameless One's own brokenness and shattered past.
