The series stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, a legendary country music superstar, whose stardom begins fading. Her producers offer her a joint tour with the up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), the young and sexy future of country music. But both singers are pursuing their goals. Juliette wants to take the place of Rayna. Rayna thinks that a few songs written by talented author Scarlett O'Connor (Clare Bowen) will help to revive her success. Rayna's father is Lamar Wyatt (Powers Boothe), a powerful politician in Nashville, who forced her to marry Teddy Conrad (Eric Close), who lives on her money.
BELIEVING

When my rose coloured glasses disappeared
Sometimes my fingers, they can lose touch
Start letting go of everything I love
When I get the feeling
That my prayers have hit the ceiling
When my faith has lost all meaning
You keep me believing
My fears are safe here, held in your hand
When I'm broken, you put me back together again
All that I once was,
All I could be,
When I've forgotten
Baby you remind me
When I get the feeling
That my prayers have hit the ceiling
And those darker days
When my faith has lost all meaning
You keep me believing
If every red heart, starts feeling blue
All you are for me
Baby, I'll be that for you
When I get the feeling
That my prayers have hit the ceiling
And those darker days
When my faith has lost all meaning
When I get the feeling
That my prayers have hit the ceiling
And those darker days
When my faith has lost all meaning
You keep me believing
You keep me believing
You keep me believing
The Nashville Cast's song "Believing" is a powerful anthem about faith and trust in someone special. The lyrics describe a feeling of uncertainty, a loss of faith, and a sense of being lost. The singer expresses a feeling of being in a dark place where their prayers have lost all meaning, and they are struggling to hold on to hope. However, they have someone in their life who keeps them believing. This person is described as someone who holds their fears in their hand, puts them back together when they are broken, and reminds them of who they truly are.
The metaphor of the rose-colored glasses disappearing symbolizes the loss of innocence and optimism. This loss can happen for various reasons, such as a traumatic experience or a profound realization of the harshness of reality. However, the singer suggests that having someone to rely on is crucial to maintaining faith and hope in difficult times. The song implies that love and belief go hand in hand, and that through trust, one can overcome life's challenges.
Overall, the song Believing is an inspiring and uplifting message about the power of love and faith to guide us through challenging times. It reminds us of the importance of having people in our lives that support us, and that we should also be there for them. When we feel lost and uncertain, sometimes all we need is someone to remind us of who we truly are and to keep us believing.
