No te pasara nada yo no muerdo
Solo ven de una vez
Hay algunas de verdad
why asesinos ojos negros
The lyrics of Natalia Oreiro's song "Febrero" is about a night at a bar where the singer is looking for someone to approach her. She notices a man with captivating eyes and wishes he would come closer to her. The song speaks about the emotions that come with being infatuated with someone, the hope of being noticed and the disappointment if it doesn't happen. The song speaks to the idea that love can be unpredictable and you never know who you will end up falling for.
The song also talks about the universal feeling of wanting someone that you can't have. Despite the thoughts and feelings that we have, sometimes the person we desire is not the one that chooses us. The lyrics talk about how sometimes love can be a game of chance or fate that we have no control over.
In addition to the lyrics, the music video for this song portrays a similar story of missed connections and missed opportunities. The shots of a crowded bar reinforce the idea that sometimes the people we see and are interested in are just out of our grasp. The overall mood of the song is sad but hopeful that love is still possible.
