When a Child Is Born

A tiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born
A silent wish sails the seven seas
The winds have changed whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and tornThis comes to pass when a child is born
A rosy hue settles all around
You′ve got the feel you're on solid ground
For a spell or two no-one seems forlorn
This comes to pass when a child is born
And all of this happened
Because whe world is waiting
Waiting for one child
Black, white, yellow, no one knows
But a child that would grow up and turn tears to laughter
Hate to love, war to peace
And everyone to everyone′s neighbour
Misery and suffering would be forgotten forever
It's all a dream and illusion now
It must come true, sometimes soon somehow
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born
The song "When a Child Is Born" by Nathan Carter is a touching tribute to the miracle of life and the hope it brings. The opening lines describe the sight of a glimmer of hope in the sky and a tiny star lighting up high, signifying the arrival of a newborn. The coming of a child seems to bring a brand new morning and a fresh start to the world. The song suggests that a child's birth could serve as a source of inspiration to people all over the world, leading them to change for the better.
The second verse of the song speaks of a "silent wish" that travels across seas and changes the winds, breaking down walls of doubt and uncertainty. This could be interpreted as a metaphor for people's aspirations for a better life, which can be realized with the help of a new generation. The hopeful message of the song is emphasized in the third verse as the arrival of a child brings a sense of solid ground and joy to everyone around. The lyrics suggest that a child's birth can cause temporary relief from sorrow and act as a source of inspiration for people to come together.
The final verse of the song imagines a future where a child grows up to bring love, peace, and unity to the world, wiping away all the pain and suffering of the past. However, the song acknowledges that the dream of a brighter future is still just an illusion that must come true. This speaks to the need for collective effort, where people come together to create a better world for the new generation.
