A plea to remain in the present, resisting the urge to escape the pain

A desperation for companionship and a shared experience through the hardships

I don't want you to hate for all the hurt that you feel
Discouraging anger towards others or the world due to personal misery

The world is just illusion trying to change you
A recognition that external factors, such as societal expectations, may try to shape one's identity

Being like you are, well, this is something else
Acknowledgment that the complexity of one's character makes it difficult to navigate the world

Who would comprehend? But some that do lay claim
Not everyone can understand this complex self, but there are those who claim to have insight

Divine purpose blesses them, that's not what I believe
Skepticism towards the idea that some people have been blessed with a greater purpose in life by a higher power

And it doesn't matter anyway
The belief that seeking greater purpose is futile and not worth investing energy in

A part of your soul ties you to the next world
A sense of connection to something greater than the physical plane

Or maybe to the last but I'm still not sure
Uncertainty regarding the nature of this connection

But what I do know is to us the world is different
Each person experiences the world differently based on their unique perspective

As we are to the world, I guess you would know that
The understanding that one's own identity shapes their perception of the world around them

This world is just illusion always trying to change you
Reiteration that external factors are constantly attempting to alter one's sense of self
