In Absentia
Nations Afire Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Roaming off confusion through these
same old streets again
I fill my lungs
pumping undiscovered pain
into this heart of stone
I walked for miles and miles
Had our connection run it's course?
And walking out on me
as temping as it is
will never be easier
Than this moment
No loss for words
An anger rising cancer in this
wellspring of the tongue
In vacant lots
I beg forgiveness
And stumble feet on broken pavement
I walked for miles and miles
parading like the damned
Had our connection run it's course?
And walking out on me
as temping as it is
will never be easier
Easier than this moment
January moves
Through you,
through you
January is gone
so soon
But you've made it
You made your move
You made your mind up didn't you
I walked for miles and miles
parading like the damned
Had our connection run it's course?
And walking out on me
as temping as it is
will never be easier
Than this moment
No..
Don't let go
of this moment

Spectral Fire
No comments for what are simply one of the best bands I've ever heard. As a devout Rise Against fan right since their EP I'm seriously challenged on "best band" rights after hearing this. used to love Ignite too but this... This band. Just. YES.
