Love this, been playing it as general room ambiance recently. I grew up in the southern US, but have been living in the west. It's quiet can be eerily tranquil in day, but camping at night feels foreboding when all you hear is wind for a few miles. I really miss how lively nighttime sounds can be.

This tricks my brain too! I’ve always had massive sleep problem to the extent I got psychotic and hospitalised for 3yrs -the past year this has helped me so much.....I can always sleep outside and for two years even though I had a house I chose to sleep on the streets Now even in winter at my house I open all my windows and play this it really is heaven sent

The lightning bugs are the perfect touch 😊 I grew up in the countryside and always loved seeing them. They signified summertime to me. Since living in the city for so long now, I haven't seen lightning bugs, that was until I went to a big lake nearby for vacation and found them aglow all around. It was so magical I almost cried lol

So calming and beautiful, really makes me miss when our area was much more wooded and full of trees and life. Growth is good, but 😔 it really is starting to get to me every time I see a new construction zone for strips, apartments, business, or another subdivision. I miss driving surrounded by trees and country, or hearing crickets, seeing stars, or watching animals lurk around at night. 🥺

I like this...it reminds me of 2 things: Going to visit my Grandparents in a small town in Arkansas called Camden, back when I was a kid in the 60's. We'd visit every summer, at night? This is all you'd hear. 2nd: It reminds me of camping in Yosemite at Camp Toulomne. I wonder where this was made though. Just curious. Lol

I'm so sorry for your loss. :( I lost my dog a few years ago. I got him as a puppy and he died at 17 years old. I know it hurts, but it will get easier. Hang in there.

Carroll Johns Virginia Creeper, without a doubt. Parthenocissus quinquefolia is the official name, but don’t hold me to the exact spelling. I’ve also heard it called five-leaved ivy. It grows everywhere in Virginia. It’s in the grape family, like muscadines, which are often seen growing in the same areas

It is just good old, highly beneficial to wildlife, gorgeous red foliage in the fall, Virginia Creeper.
Poison Ivy is "leaves of three, let it be". It is also an essential source of food for migrating birds in the fall.

Unfortunately I slept outside a lot. it was the only way I can get some rest because of the horrifying sounds of my father brutally beating my mother every night before bed. So yeah great video, I gave it a thumbs up.

The new Forest Edge 2019 I posted today should (hopefully?) be a good replacement for the original Forest Edge, Low Pitch Crickets, and Nighttime Ambience with Fireflies. I've deleted Dusk Countryside and Frogs After Rain so that I could re-apply today, but rest assured that I am working diligently to get these updated and uploaded again for you guys.
