I love this so much, for some peculiar reason it reminds me of the time I visited Thailand, my family and I were driving down a road in a land cruiser (one of those safari cars) next to a lake, even though it was night there was a warm tropical breeze. Thank you so much for this lovely soundtrack as it helps me reimagine the past event more clearer and it helps to calm me down before bed.

Feel like being home at my parent's house, which is very close to paddy fields, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Even now, it is difficult to have a night like this over there, since now and then you have to bear the noise from passing by motorcycles.

True. Spent a few weeks in Puerto Rico, specifically El Yunque Rainforest and Vieques (which the whole middle part is a jungle itself) and can testify even if you could take away the Coqui frog chirping non stop, the amount of other sounds is enormous. And those are island rainforests, with animals and insects that are native to that island. Go to the Amazon, Yucatan, India and SE Asia and you're gonna wish you slept in the day and stayed up at night cause you're not getting any sleep it's so damn noisy of ... things...

I have not heard sounds like this for a very long time.... At least 2-3 decades. I hear this alot especially the night after rain, as a kid. So noisy that it's kinda torture to get myself to sleep. Development has removed all these. And it has been silent ever since.

I love the frogs and crickets! Every spring there is a vernal pool off my property where frogs chant every night for several months.

in recent months I've started using guided meditation and nature sounds to fall asleep and stay asleep. I have tinnitus in my ears and I need sound to block out the ringing in my ears. This video has been the best one ever. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it is so peaceful and non-distractive . I want to say thank you for the good work and appreciate it.

"Log 5, July 17th, 1967. It's 0200 hours of an early Thursday morning in the north vietnamese jungle. We just received orders to lay low until 0500 hours due to high hostile activity in the surrounding area. Our mission is to hike up towards an NVA outpost along the Sai gon River to destroy a comms tower used to transport wmd. For now, we're laying low. We're taking turns keeping watch. Switching every 20 minutes. One person keeps watch while the others get some sleep. It's currently my turn to keep watch, which is how I'm writing this now. It's dark, very dark, foggy, humid, moist. So many harsh conditions occurring all at once. What's scary about it right now? The quietness. It's too quiet. Anytime it gets too quiet, it's a sign that nva are nearby. But I've got 5 claymore triggers sitting in front of me, so I'm ready for em."

This video is a loop? You definitely can't have 11 hours of video without the sun going up or coming down.
