"Needless To Say started in the fall of 2003. We started off as a couple of friends wanting to play music for fun and pass the time through high school. We wanted to be what everyone talked about and wanted everyone to know who we were. Starting as a punk band we quickly evolved and grew up from our punk roots and wanted more passion in the music. With all the material we were writing we could have came out with many full lengths by now, but we were not ready to come out to the public yet. We practiced almost everyday for a year in hopes of finding our sound. We finally started writing songs that we were proud of and that we liked and finally started booking shows. This band has never been about pleasing certain people just so they would like us. We have always written music that we wanted to make and didn't care what other people thought of it. If you liked it, we loved you...if you hated it, it drove us to write more and more music. In a society of kids that are so closed minded, its hard to get people into our music. If its not pure hardcore, punk, pop, dance, whatever...people will automatically stop listening. We try to bring everything to the table and not limit ourselves. We are trying to push outward with all kinds of music to expand our sound. We dont want to be just another local scene band. We want to break out of the ordinary and suprise people. There's not much more to say here. Open your ears to our sound, Open your eyes to our performance, We are Needless To Say "
One night stand
Needless to Say Lyrics

Do you wanna fall in love tonight?
Hey there hot stuff what ya what ya doing?
I promise ill be the lay of your life
She said, Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, uh oh oh
Do you wanna fall in love tonight?
She said, uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, uh oh oh
I promise ill be the lay of your life
I'd have her wake the next morning begging me for more
But little does she know, she'll take me home
And awake the next morning all alone
Because never will I, never can I fall victim
To the wretched hands of monogamy
Never will I, never shall I fall
We'll kiss and touch, pretend to love
In the end its nothing more than fun
The lyrics of Needless to Say's song "One Night Stand" describe the singer's approach to relationships, which is to pursue casual, physical encounters rather than commit to a long-term, monogamous partnership. The opening lines suggest that the singer is approaching someone they find physically attractive and asking if they want to "fall in love" for one night. The repetition of the phrase "hey there hot stuff, what ya what ya doing?" creates a lighthearted, flirtatious tone that reinforces the song's emphasis on physical attraction.
As the chorus repeats, the woman responds positively, saying "uh oh" and agreeing to the singer's proposal. The next few lines describe the physical encounter in more detail, highlighting the singer's expertise and the woman's willingness to continue. However, the last two lines of the chorus suggest that the woman is not aware of the singer's true intentions, as he will not commit to anything more than a night of fun.
The bridge of the song is perhaps the most revealing, as the singer explicitly states that they will never "fall victim" to monogamy. This suggests that the singer has a negative view of relationships that require commitment and loyalty, and prefers to live in the moment rather than plan for a stable future. The final line of the song suggests that the singer sees physical encounters as "nothing more than fun," reinforcing the idea that he does not attach any emotional significance to these experiences.
