I do always enjoy hearing him talk about other authors.

@LienesLibrary

or about....anything haha

This is such thoughtful commentary. I'm currently reading 'Cheap Seats" in combo with the first Sandman. Earlier this year, I was reading 'The Graveyard Book' with my thirteen year old son, and he was convinced it was a kid story, just as I was convinced it probably resonates more with adults. That's the power of Gaiman. If you ever get the chance to read 'Fortunately, The Milk' out loud to someone, even yourself, you won't regret it. :)

@LienesLibrary

I've read that, but not out loud...

I!!!! LOVE!!!! THIS!!!! BOOK!!! The View From the Cheap Seats is such an underrated book when it comes to Neil Gaiman's work and I'm so happy to see more people talking about it. Neil Gaiman is literally an author who can just write in absolutely any genre and still have it work for him.

@LienesLibrary

he's an absolute legend, agreed

I met him on a Sunday afternoon stroll a few weeks ago. I've not read any of his books but was with a friend who loves his work so we had a chat with him - such a lovely guy.

@LienesLibrary

that's amazing! I'm so jelly

@SarahAsYouWish

Yes, this one definitely had me adding a number of books to my TBR. It was also a good overview/introduction to some of the foundational SFFH works. It was a charming listening experience.

@LienesLibrary

so many books added to my exploding tbr lol
