One Way Ticket
Neil Sedaka Lyrics
[Chorus]
Choo, choo train chugging down the track
Gotta travel on, never coming back
Oh, oh got a one way ticket to the blues
Bye, bye love my baby's leaving me
Now lonely teardrops are all that I can see
Oh, oh got a one way ticket to the blues
Gonna take a trip to lonesome town
A fool such as I that never learns
I cry a tear so well
[Chorus]
Oh, oh got a one way ticket to the blues
Gonna take a trip to lonesome town
Gonna stay at heartbreak hotel
A fool such as I that never learns
I cry a tear so well
[Chorus]
Oh, oh got a one way ticket to the blues
Oh, oh got a one way ticket to the blues

@Teacher From the Jungles

I never knew Eruptions version was a cover. This sounds like a disco song way ahead of it's time.

One way ticket to the blues is one of the greatest dance songs ever written, way ahead of its time. A Great hit in the communist east block as we were rocking the night away with a pretty girl twisting in and out of my arms. This is the song i want to be played at my funeral one day! Thank you Neil, you are young forever in my memory.

Neil Sedaka!

@Sergey Kremnyov
