Tell Me Why
Neil Young Lyrics

Sailing heart-ships through broken harbors
Out on the waves in the night
Still the searcher must ride the dark horse
Racing alone in his fright
Tell me why
Tell me why

Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself
When you're old enough to repay but young enough to sell?
Tell me lies later, come and see me
I'll be around for a while
I am lonely but you can free me
All in the way that you smile
Tell me why
Tell me why

Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself
When you're old enough to repay but young enough to sell?

Tell me why
Tell me why

Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself
When you're old enough to repay but young enough to sell?

Neil Strauss I think he has the greatest run of great albums of anyone in history.

Everybody Knows this is Nowhere
After the Goldrush
Harvest
Tonight’s the Night
On the Beach
Zuma
Comes a Time
Rust Never Sleeps
Live Rust

The Rust Never Sleeps video concert is the greatest set of live music ever in my opinion. The performances at that concert better the studio versions in my opinion.

"Tell Me Why"

Sailing heart-ships
thru broken harbors
Out on the waves in the night
Still the searcher
must ride the dark horse
Racing alone in his fright.
Tell me why, tell me why

Is it hard to make
arrangements with yourself,
When you're old enough to repay
but young enough to sell?

Tell me lies later,
come and see me
I'll be around for a while.
I am lonely but you can free me
All in the way that you smile
Tell me why, tell me why

Is it hard to make
arrangements with yourself,
When you're old enough to repay
but young enough to sell?

Tell me why, tell me why
Tell me why, tell me why

@tee cee Google it. Although hogmelon is a pedantic twat waffle, he is correct. NY's lyrics have always made perfect sense to me, though.

@hogmelon Jesus, dude, relax.

tee cee

@nittles61 "Hardships" would make more sense to me, but much of Neil Young's lyrics didn't make "literal" or "practical" as much as "emotional" sense in the way he sang them back then.
