Can't Stop Me
Nelson Lyrics
(I can't stop loving you)
I've made up my mind
To live in memory of the lonesome times
(I can't stop wanting you)
It's useless to say
So I'll just live my life in dreams of yesterday
(Dreams of yesterday)
Those happy hours that we once knew
Though long ago, they still make me blue
They say that time heals a broken heart
But time has stood still since we've been apart
(I can't stop loving you)
I've made up my mind
To live in memories of the lonesome times
(I can't stop wanting you)
It's useless to say
So I'll just live my life in dreams of yesterday
(Those happy hours)
(Those happy hours)
(That we once knew)
(That we once knew)
(Though long ago)
(Though long ago)
(Still make me blue)
Still make me blue
(They say that time)
(They say that time)
(Heals a broken heart)
(Heals a broken heart)
(But time has stood still)
Time has stood still
(Since we've been apart)
(Since we've been apart)
(I can't stop loving you)
I said I made up my mind
To live in memory of the lonesome times
Sing a song, children
(I can't stop wanting you)
It's useless to say
So I'll just live my life of dreams of yesterday
(Of yesterday)
I've made up my mind
To live in memory of the lonesome times
(I can't stop wanting you)
It's useless to say
So I'll just live my life in dreams of yesterday
(Dreams of yesterday)
Those happy hours that we once knew
Though long ago, they still make me blue
But time has stood still since we've been apart
(I can't stop loving you)
I've made up my mind
To live in memories of the lonesome times

(Those happy hours)
(Those happy hours)
(That we once knew)
(That we once knew)
(Though long ago)
(Though long ago)
(Still make me blue)
Still make me blue
(They say that time)
(They say that time)
(Heals a broken heart)
(Heals a broken heart)
(But time has stood still)
Time has stood still
(Since we've been apart)
(Since we've been apart)

I said I made up my mind
To live in memory of the lonesome times
Sing a song, children
(I can't stop wanting you)

So I'll just live my life of dreams of yesterday

Here she comes, just like an angel
Seems like forever that she's been on my mind
But nothing has changed, she thinks I'm a waste of her time
There she goes, she don't know what she's missing
Can't she see I'll never give up the fight
I'll do all I can till she understands my desire
I've been on the outside lookin' in
Let me into your heart
There's nothing on earth
That should keep up apart
Baby, I can't live without your love and affection
I can't face another night on my own
I'd give up my pride to save me from being alone
'Cause I can't live without your love, your love
So I wait, here for an answer
Wonder if tomorrow will be like yesterday
I'll keep holding on but I can't go on living this way
Baby, I've been on the outside lookin' in
Bring my tears to an end
I realize there's no use for me to pretend
Oh, yeah
I can't live without your love and affection
I can't face another night on my own
I'd give up my pride to save me from being alone
'Cause I can't live without your love
For your love, I'd put my arms around you
For your love, and find the strength to tell you
For your love, that I can't live without your
I can't live without your love and affection
I can't face another night on my own
I'd give up my pride to save me from being alone
Baby, I can't live without your love and affection
I just can't go on this way anymore
As hard as I try, there's one thing that I know for sure
I can't live without your love
There she goes, I can't live without your love, baby
There she goes, I can't live without your love
There she goes, I can't live without your love

I loved this song! It’s 2023 and it’s one of my favorites ❤
@Daehawk
Hard to believe 33 years have passed since I first heard this on the car radio with my new wife. She has been gone 5 years now. Time just blows by and the good times seem so far gone.
@tolsen8212
Bands that were considered a cheesy joke back in 1990 now sound like musical geniuses. This is a catchy, well produced song and the brothers are hard touring musicians to this day. Great nostalgia.
@jasoncamp483
You are so right about that. In 1990 I remember people making fun of these guys but 32 years later.....It is still great.
@92art_raider
you are correct sir
@philhampson8105
@Jason Camp aaaaa a
@cynthiaennis3107
Not by me! I think for myself!
@cynthiaennis3107
@Jason Camp I don’t know why people made fun of them...they were playing professionally since 12! Jealously, maybe! They have such a great sound!
@mtp4430
These guys were the brunt of a lot of jokes in their career, but if we're being honest here, this is a well-written, well performed, well produced pop gem. They we're misinterpreted as a hair band. They certainly had the hair, but they weren't a hair band. What they did was overlooked or ridiculed by many. But they're two talented dudes from a talented family with a valid musical pedigree.
@angelbrother1238
I heard this song on the radio while driving Uber eats . I had to find it on YouTube and voila . Awesome song .
How the heck did I miss this group when I was in college lol
