This is just a great scene. I think people can relate to it easier than they think. I see a man who is fighting for something he doesn’t understand . Lacking confidence he falls. Someone dear to him reminded him who he was and why people love him. He realizes who he is and loves himself for it. For the first time he sees the world for what it is and isn’t fearful anymore. I'm already 20 and the first time I watched The Matrix was when I was about 9 or 10. Neo, Apoc, and Switch were my favorites and when I saw Apoc and Switch die cause of Cypher, I was upset. But this part where Neo dies made me shed tears cause Neo's my most favorite and when Neo died I said,
"No! Not Neo too!!!" I couldn't watch anymore after that. But after Trinity kissed him, my stepdad said,
"Look kiddo." While he was smiling and when it showed Neo opening his eyes, I was both shocked and happy. And I said,
"He's alive!!!" And when the agents were shooting at him, I got all worried and said,
"Neo!!!" But when he stopped the bullets, I said,
"Whoa! How did he do that?!" Then my stepdad said,

Something like a long weekend binging a series/movie-franchise/atmospheric-game can trigger this but a broken up day is far less likely to do so (wake, commute, work, walk while eating, more work, evening chill n eat, sleep far less likely to have a similar effect unless you are mid project/crunch and living the work for a while.

Yeah it was obvious that this movie should never had a sequel. The story was finished. The reason most sequels suck is the same reason most tv dramas suck. Most of time the plot just keeps going in circles utill people stop watching.

In my humble opinion, the '90s had one of the best movies of all time in the history of cinematography. My favorite movies in the '90s: Heat, The Shawshank Redemption, The Schindler's List, Terminator 2, As Good as it gets, The Matrix, Casino, Gladiator, TimeCop, seven, The Green Mile, and Saving Private Ryan. of course there are many but these ones are my favorites ones. The Matrix was Re-Released in India this week (3rd December 2021) and I watched it in cinema theatre for the first time yesterday. Believe me as I say this, this movie still holds up to this day. Facts. The Matrix is a true blue ultimate masterpiece. The Wachowski Brothers directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever. It never gets old. 😍💯👍😎 The Matrix Resurrections is absolutely and positivity one of the wrost movies of all time on so many levels. It felt rushed and forced. It's a disgrace in the franchise. I like Smith's attitude. Even when he knew he was fighting an opponent more powerful than him, he fought till the end. When Neo was jumping to get inside him, he still tried to punch. The most effective move till the last moment. The tenacity of a machine.

That's the reason the Oracle told Trinity that "The One" would be the one she falls in love with. Her admitting that she loves him to Neo after he died unlocked his potential. Oracle said he has the gift, but was waiting for something. This is exactly what he was waiting for, even though it was completely unknown to him. Had the Oracle not told Trinity about loving "The One", she would've never realized that was a requirement and wouldn't have said/admitted what she did. Trinity is a reference to "The Holy Trinity" in the Bible, The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Here, it's Trinity, Neo, and the Oracle.

This whole film is a masterpiece that gives me chills and this is one those scenes that never fails to give me goosebumps...it's sad the sequels couldn't live up to this classic(though Reloaded is underappreciated and revolutions wasn't as bad many made out to be, resurrections was also solid and i had my fingers tightly crossed hoping that somehow they'd be able to recapture the magic from this movie but unfortunately there's some things not even Keanu Reeves can do
