Neonomora and family relocated to Urbana Champaign, Illinoi as his father finishing his master’s degree. Neonomora was an effervescent, bubbly kid. Although English was not her mother-tongue at first, she adapts very fast and makes new friends with no difficulties. She became used to facing different cultures and languages since a little. For only one year, she already remembered every song learned at the playground. Her mother sees her talent and took a chance to motivate her to sing. Her mother acquainted her to listen to great soul artists such as Etta James, Shirley Bassey, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Earth Wind and Fire, and many more legendary soul artists – while his father familiarizes her with BeeGees and Queen. Her mother was a singer back then - collaborated along with some Indonesian Jazz Legends including Jack Lesmana, Bubi Chen and many more. She taught Neonomora to sing in the first place.

‘You Want My Love’ will be her debut single to-be-released on November 25th 2012, everyone can download the single through her website (www.neonomora.com) for free in a limited time given by her management. She came up with a stage name Neonomora for a reason that she loves everything about the outer space. Her actual name, Ratih Suryahutamy, is derived from two terms in Sanskrit; which Ratih means Moon Goddess and Surya means the Sun. Neonomora is a combination of terms that have the same meaning; Nomo is moon in the right order, and Ra means the Sun God in ancient Egypt language. She got clicked with the name and has consistently been using the name for the past 3 years. Neonomora is now preparing for ‘You Want My Love’ music video and excited to enter the studio again for album recording in December and that she is going to paint for her own album’s cover.
