Netsky & Sub Focus Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I, I, I, I
I been feelin' your energy
I've been wantin' you next to me
You been looking for ecstasy, well you know we had a chemistry
If you love me right baby, please
I can never be your enemy
It's something 'bout that remedy, got me feeling like it's destiny
I, I, I, I
Dest-dest, dest-dest
Dest-dest, dest-dest

I been feelin' your energy
I've been wantin' you next to me
You been looking for ecstasy, well you know we had a chemistry
If you love me right baby, please
I can never be your enemy
It's something 'bout that remedy, got me feeling like it's destiny

I, I, I, I
I been feelin' your energy
I've been wantin' you next to me
You been looking for ecstasy, well you know we had a chemistry
If you love me right baby, please
I can never be your enemy
It's something 'bout that remedy, got me feeling like it's destiny

Every sub-focus tune is genuinely starting to sound the same. Put a bassline punch in on every beat, a synth pattern that keeps going on and on and never variates, and put a vocal on top.

See - Dimension - Remedy, 1991 - Power, Sub Focus - Desire (or anything else)

I LOVE DnB, and Hospital for that matter. And I get that 'Pop' dnb is here to stay. But jesus christ is it repetitive and boring. Netsky has done some quality work with his new album but this aint it.

(side note - opinions are good, if you disagree with me - fine! But for me - repetitive, boring and like every other Sub Focus track that isn't a huge banger (Siren, Solar System and that's about it rn)

(P.s.s. - sorry for the essay, love you hospital and Netsky)

I can feel Netsky in this one. The ambience, the feel, the pace, even in the melody. To me its more than 10%, but the core of the track reminds me of Desire aswell.
