Wow. This song brought me through some very rough times since I first heard it back in Brooklyn in 1998. Now, here we are in 2025, and I have a feeling that the words and melodies of this song will remain a true anthem and theme for many believers. Rough days are ahead, but God's love is, and forever will remain, a hiding place for God's children. God bless 🙏🏾

I got word today, they found my mom in her bed gone, as if she was sleeping. God took her from the painful life she lived. Blind, paranoid schizophrenia, heart disease and copd. I am so heart broken but at least now she is not suffering. This song immediately came into my head when I was finally able to think and the first words I thought of was "I Found Jesus". Rest easy Momma, I Love You Forever and a Day.
