New Trolls Lyrics

Little Paulette wokes her doll in her cradle like every woman her man
(coro) Little Paulette wokes her doll in her cradle like every woman her man
A D'Artagnan get up early in the morning dressed like a sunday messieurs
(coro) a D'Artagnan get up early in the morning dressed like a sunday messieurs

On a day like this no peasant works in the fields
Market place is empty 'cause no one works today
All the roads are clean and neat today
My king is coming now
All the windows full of flowers to
My king is coming now
There is something unique in the air
My king is coming

People's hearing people's watching
They are just appearing on the hill

Here is the king here is the king
Little Paulette is happy
Today everybody is happy
And people is shouting now

Hey le roi soleil what's about of pompadour
Hey le roi soleil this is not a calambour

Let's the king in let's the king in let's
The king in let's the king in let's the king in now
Po po po po po po

Let's the king in let's the king in let's the king in
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to New Trolls' song Le Roi Soleil paint a picture of a society eagerly awaiting the arrival of their king, their excitement palpable in every line. Little Paulette, a representative of the women of the land, tends to her doll in the same way a woman cares for her man. This is juxtaposed with the image of a D'Artagnan, a symbol of masculine strength and valor, rising early to dress himself in his finest attire, highlighting the anticipation felt by everyone.

On this day, the peasants have taken a break from their labors, leaving the market empty and the roads impeccably clean in preparation for the king's arrival. The air is thick with excitement, and it's evident in the windows filled with flowers and the people who have gathered on the hill to catch a glimpse of their leader. As the king finally arrives, the enthusiasm reaches a fever pitch, with cheers ringing out and the people dancing and celebrating.

Overall, the song can be seen as a commentary on the power of rulers and the lengths to which people will go to honor them. There's a clear sense of excitement and respect throughout the track, highlighting the important role that kings and other leaders can play in society.
