The lyrics to Neyi Zimu's song Worship Medley are a powerful expression of gratitude and praise to God. The repetition of "Udumo malube Kuwe" emphasizes the desire for God's glory and sovereignty to be manifest in the worshiper's life. "Udumo" is a Zulu word that translates to "glory" or "majesty," and "malube" means "let it be" or "let it happen." So altogether, the phrase "Udumo malube Kuwe" can be understood as a plea for God's glory to be evident.
The song continues with the declaration of gratitude, "Ngoba siyabonga Baba, siyabonga" which means "For we thank you, Father, we thank you." This expression of gratitude is followed by the repetition of "Siyabonga," emphasizing the depth of appreciation towards God. The lyrics affirm God's reign as the King of Zion and the Lion of Judah, and encourage Jesus to reign in the lives of the worshipers.
In the second section, the lyrics switch to a plea for Jesus to reign, with the words "Busa Jesu, busa" meaning "Reign Jesus, reign." The lines "You are the King, you are the King of Zion" and "You are the lion, Lion of Judah" further emphasize Jesus' majesty and authority.
