Caught up in your dreams
You think there's no place
That you've never been
Tell me have you ever seen
The faces of love
I've been through the rain
I've crossed the border
Where pleasure meets pain
Once you have seen through me eyes
You won't be the same
Oh, no no
I could show your heart
Another side
All the colors
That make up your light
So many secrets
That you're gonna realize
Look into the mirror of my eyes
I know a pilot
If you'll take my hand
We'll sail to waters
To uncharted land
Where we can both understand
The faces of love
So many places
Where true hearts can go
So many flowers
In my garden grow
Oh boy I want you to know
The faces of love
Sing it: la la la
Baby can you tell me
Oh boy have you ever seen
The faces of love
I'll be there to show you things you never knew
If you would look into my eyes
I'm sure you'd realize
Everything you've been missin' boy
In your heart, and in your mind
I wanna make you understand
The lyrics of Nia Peeples's song Faces Of Love are a message for a young boy, who is caught up in his own world of dreams and thinks he has seen it all. The singer tells him about the "faces of love" that await him and the beautiful secrets that he can discover if he opens his heart and mind. The singer has been through tough times, such as crossing the border where pleasure meets pain, but she has also experienced the beauty of love. The singer wants to share this with the young boy and make him see the world through her eyes.
The second verse reveals that the singer knows a pilot who can take them to uncharted land where they both can understand the faces of love. The singer emphasizes that there are many places where true hearts can go and so many flowers in her garden grow. She wants the young boy to know that there is more to life than just dreams and fantasies. She promises to be there for him, to show him things that he never knew and to make him understand the true meaning of love.
The song not only talks about love, but it is also a song of encouragement for the young boy, who is lost in his own world. The singer is trying to show him that there is a whole new world that he has not seen and that he needs to open his heart and mind to experience it.

This sounds like a nice song. I didn't know she had a song or album out in 1992, 28 years ago. What a nice music classic. Wow the years just go by so very fast! Golly.
