@David Ken but I'm saying that she's being honest, not that she's necessarily telling the truth. Let me explain:

Being honest means to tell the truth about YOUR opinions, feelings and memories.

Lying means to give an intentionally false statement.

It may have happened that Britney didn't treat Alexa that aggressively but she remembers it that way because of the trauma. Or it may've been a misunderstanding too, she was a kid.

So she may be being 100% honest and still not be telling the truth about what actually happened (I'm just mentioning options, not giving actual theories) and we'll never know that.

I think it was last year that I was feeling bad for jls, before what went down with Britney. I felt extremely bad for jls because of her being a teen mom, and my favourite show stopping because of it

But then Alexa revealed everything that she went through, and it just left a bad taste in my mouth. How can she weaponize her sister in this way? How can she make herself look like the victim here when she knew damn well what she did to Alexa?

To me it seems like the only reason why she apologized was so she can get sympathy from Alexa and to hopefully use Alexa's kind nature to her advantage.

Like, "Hey I apologized to Alexa, I mean she did things to me, but I apologized to her, we're good friends now. See I'm not such a bad person after all! Besides, I'm totally the victim here"

It's like she's just making up lies and is starting to believe her own lies, and hopes that everyone else will believe them too

The part about her not being invited to the wrap party literally broke my heart. I had a “friend” like Jamie Lynn growing up— armchair diagnosing this girl in my past but pathological liar, narcissistic personality disorder. This interview breaks my heart. For years the tabloids always said there was drama but they never gave Alexa a voice to explain her side. It always appeared as if Alexa was the villain in the situation and Jamie was the victim. However, looking back I should've dropped out during my high school years because of what I was going through at home. My mom was abusive, paranoid and controlling. I can’t even wrap my mind around the fact that BS the biggest artist in the WORLD at that time, that all of us as little girls saw as this goddess and total IDOL, would embarrass and crush her own fan like this, I can only imagine Alexa’s heart being shattered in a million pieces and the trauma that must’ve come after probably ruined her self esteem for years. My children watch Zoey 101, while growing up. Learning that so many of the cast treated her badly, makes me happy when my girls decide they no longer wanted to watch it. It’s like they could feel all the bad energy on that set. Bravo Alexa, for going through tough times and coming out better for it. Jamie, Victoria Justice and the rest of the cast, especially the ADULTS on set owe Alexa an apology BIG TIME. I'm so dissapointed! I'm glad Britney apologized to her, I am incredibly happy for her well-deserved freedom after several years under the thumbs of her manipulative and greedy family but no way her behavior towards Alexa could be justified, she was an ADULT. Alexa was just a kid and probably terrified. I'm just so sorry that a show that brightened the childhood for many of us, was on the other hand a devastating nightmare for someone else who had to endure such horrible treatments every single day 💔

Wow. I have so much respect for Alexa for speaking out against Jamie Lynn- and for supporting Britney despite her bad experience with her so many years ago. People like her truly believe the lies they say. Jamie Lynn 100% thinks that she is a victim. It doesn't matter what anyone else says or who calls her out on her bs/inconsistencies. People can show receipt after receipt that Jamie Lynn is lying or exaggerating shit and she will still never admit it or take any accountability.
As for why her PR team/management didn't tell her that writing this book would be a bad idea, all those people want is money. They are banking off her book tour interviews, people who are buying the book solely to call her out on the lies in it, the few actual fans she does have who eat up her "woe is me" sob story, and the buzz all this creates which will roll into any other projects she's involved with. The saying, "There is no such thing as bad press" is the epitome of Jamie Lynn and this shit show of a memoir. Plus Lou Taylor is still pulling the puppet strings and we all know that she was more than thrilled to have Jamie Lynn write this book in order to put a bunch of crap in there to paint Britney in a bad light. Especially during these investigations into the finances, the conservatorship in general, and the hidden cams/phone cloning/voice recording issue.
My suggestion to anyone who wants to read this book, please don't buy it new from a store, online, etc. This will not only put money in Jamie Lynn's pocket but in Lou Taylor's as well. Find a used book store, or website (thriftbooks.com for example) and buy the copy used! This will make it so Jamie Lynn does not receive royalties from the purchase.

Alexa was my favourite on the show and I was so sad when she was no longer there and the fact that made her character seem like she was just some boy crazy girl who's been shipped off somewhere. Then I heard the rumours that she was yelled at by Britney which seemed so unusual. But then years later I came across her live where she told everything that happened and it just broke my heart. I was bullied by adults as a kid, and that stuff is so hard to get over because they have the maturity to know and do better and it makes you wonder why they still choose to do that. I really admire Alexa for choosing to understand Britney, and I have full sympathy for her as well and knowing what she was already going through at the time. I teared up when she started tearing up as well. What a strong woman and I only hope for great and wonderful things to come her way.

She is such an authentic, beautiful soul! And Nicole was always my favorite character on Zoey 101, as a kid I was so sad when she left. Now I’m SO GLAD Alexa removed herself from the situation. To have to be friends with these people on screen, when you know they don’t like you… I can’t imagine how difficult that must’ve been! She should not have had to do that, but the fact that she did just proves her bravery, resilience, and professionalism. And she was only 12!
She deserves apologies from everyone on that set, and from Britney as well.

I would LOVEEEEE to hear Kristen Herreras side of everything as well. She’s obviously detached from the rest of the cast so it wouldn’t really cause any personal rifts and I really believe there was more to the story than Jamie Lynn says on why she was dismissed from the show. I think there was an incident where she pushed Alexa and the fact that she was already a bit older than the rest of the cast at that point... That's what I remember from Alexa's live anyway, but it seems she's been denying that ever happened. I agree though, and if only Alexa's willing to talk about it then how is anyone to know what really went on. Unfortunately it really does seem like most of them choose not to be as mature about things that happened when they were children.

From Alexa’s stories about that time, it’s pretty clear that her mom really loved her and advocated for her and tried to protect her, whereas other parents of kids on set at the very least didn’t know how to protect their kid from Dan. The fact that I never knew Alexa was going through so much bullying on the set really makes me realize that behind a show or movie there’s always something that happens when the cameras are off. I’ve been bullied and I remember times where I was denied being invited out with people because of having a similar personality she had. It really makes me wonder who was also bullying her on the set. Hearing these people who I thought were so cool turn out to have hidden faults really shocks me in a way that I can’t even describe it.

Honestly, it’s usually not like that! My son is an actor on a sitcom and also a popular upcoming show and movie. Everyone, even the big A list actors are always super nice. We haven’t had a bad experience with any other actors on set. The only thing can be kind of “mean” is for the background and extra actors. They aren’t treated the best and aren’t allowed to really interact with the regular actors.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying bullying doesn’t happen, but I think it’s uncommon. It requires a person like Jamie being in a lead role, and fortunately most actors are lovely people. I 100% believe Alexa btw.

I remember hearing her story about being on the set of Zoey 101 and the Britney story. Now as a big sister coming to defend her little sister from kids messing with her I get that part. I have done that before and said things I shouldn’t have.

You protect and defend when you love your little sister. Granted I was a teen doing this not a grown woman. Still doesn’t excuse it.

However after learning more about little miss JL I started wondering how much of what she told Britney was BS so she could deliberately sic her sister on Alexa as a scare tactic.

Kudos to Alexa for calling out JL’s lies and sharing her story. She has a beautiful energy that’s infectious!

I can't imagine how hard it must have been for Alexa to cope with the bullying and exclusion on the set. Just imagine being told off by Britney (and for something you didn't do as well!) - I would have been crushed too. I know kids can be cruel and can still grow up to be lovely adults. I did a few mean things as a child (not many) and I feel guilty about them to this day (I'm 37!). Why did Jamie Lynn bring up these things, especially when they aren't true? It just blew up in her face and it showed up the fact that she's a bully and a liar. It's crazy! Alexa seems like a really kind and cool person. All the best to her xxxx

I am definitely NOT taking JL's side with anything she says but honestly some forms of bullying can stay with a person over a lifetime. I'm 47 y/o and was a victim of bullying as a child which caused me to live a lifetime of low self esteem. Sometimes it's not so easy to "just get over it".

This is a tough one. Its hard to trust childhood perspectives on interpersonal relationships - but because of that it is even worse that JLS would put that in her book.
I lean more away from JLS just because I have know people raised to have similar habits.

This show was sooo nostalgic for me. I loved chase and I always wanted to go to PCA. Even in middle school I had the zoey 101 key to my house! Literally I saw it in those key stores and I was wearing it around my neck showing all my friends lol. Fast forward, I was bullied a lot in middle school. So super sad,and very believable. In Jamie's book interview you can clearly see she's lying. Everytime she's asked an uncomfortable question she starts darting her eyes around the room trying to come up with an answer that paints herself as a victim. You can practically see the wheels in her head turning to try and cover her ass. This young woman is relaxed and doesn't hesitate to answer any question. People telling the truth don't usually hesitate unless it's something hard to remember. If the event is notable enough to make it into the book Jamie should remember the details more clearly. Jamie Lynn made a big mistake coming out with this book. Now everyone knows what a selfish backstabbing person she really is.

I grew up loving Jamie Lynn. She and I are the same age and I idolized her in Zoey 101. Hearing how she was in the past would’ve broke 13 year old me. I was bullied relentlessly for no reason and I escaped that torment through Zoey 101. Glad Alexa is going down a better path. Proud of her.

I was bullied badly for years. Harsh and disgusting words, hitting, spitting, mocking... Can't even express all. And in one point, I became a bully out of frustration and being in my lowest. I was just mean. It is not an exuse, but I forgave my bullies and still can't forgive myself for what I've done even if I wasn't that mean. It still was mean and I shouldn't have been like that just that people accept me. I should have learned from my experience and even though I was young, I've shouldn't become what I've hated. I'm all grown now and do my best and I would never lie if I know something was true just to make me look good. There's always someone who knows what you did. I'm still dealing with the trauma but I am doing my best in all aspects of my life. Don't know if it changes anything but I hope that people who know me, know I am a good person. At least I'm trying to be.
Those people are famous and there is always a chance that someone will speak out so there is no point in telling lies.

One thing I want to point out notice Alexa isn't on some talk show on TV or needing money to dish out the details. She literally says this for free of her own free will. Jamie needs a book to spill out these supposed true memories. That right there tells you everything you need to know. I briefly lived outside of Miami and my daughter was represented by Ford Models as a baby. I'm so glad that was for only half a year(?) before we moved. I'm so thankful that my daughter never got immersed in that world or acting. This seems so traumatic. It seems like Alexa has a great mother who tried to do her best and AHHHHHHH all of this still happened. I thought I was doing something amazing for her and no. The more I learn about that world, the more guilty I feel for even going there.
