In Your Hands
Nick Mulvey Lyrics
See them come together
Oh, they would not be apart
For every other there's another
And that's the only way to start
Can live as one as lovers
Live as two as enemies
So many never know the difference
Come step in the dark with me
Before I understand
How loving can be
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How it can be
(In my bones...)
A vicious craving in my bones
(In my mind...)
A needing burning in my mind
(One step away...)
Kept me one step away from something I could not find
(I looked inside...)
Until I looked inside my aching heart and saw a hive of honey bees
(Making honey...)
Making honey from my darkness, gold from my disease
So now I see
Can know the world as a lover
Can know the world as an enemy
Oh, so many never know the difference
Come step in the dark with me
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How loving can be
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How it can be
Calling out, yeah
Calling out, yeah, yeah, yeah
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How loving can be
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How it can be
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How loving can be
With the pale light in your hands
Before I understand
How it can be
Ananana 'ey, Ananana 'ey

A vicious craving in my bones
Burden in my mind
Kept me one step away from something I could not find
Until I looked inside my aching heart and saw a hive of honey bees
Making honey from my darkness oh from my disease
So now I see although the world is another
Know the world is an enemy
Oh so many never know the difference

Your music is truly healing. Thank you so much for giving me hope, strength and allowing me to remember the realest part of myself when life makes me start to believe differently. So many times your songs have helped me through difficult moments and I am really grateful for people like you.

It was night when I started listening this album and then I just slept! But I woken up when this beautiful song was playing.
I was at a farm, in Brazil's middleWest, and the sky was completely "bathed" by a million of stars. All the farm's lights was off and then the view was amazing.

That sounds like a complete Paradise to live through. Life is beautiful in its own ways while I look at a long length of radiating green grass right before it rains and it's really dark in the evening. There's so many amazing days ahead. 😃
