Straight Outta Line
Nick Voss Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Straight outta line what they did to me ya it crossed my mind.
Paralyzed seems far away but i'll never think twice and i'm not scared.
People stand alone i don't even care.
Here i go i'm walking tall now baby.
Im heading out west and i'm gonna sign away my soul with a skitzer on my back imma show them something they don't know don't know d-d-on't know.
My heart on my sleeve and a closet full of bold i ain't stopping till my musics on the radio.
So many times i let it get to me and it made me cry.
Do or die.
My momma said to me boy if you care for what you do you keep on walking till your days are through.
Here i am here i go i wont let them walk on me anymore!
Im heading out west and i'm gonna sign away my soul.
With a skitzer on my back imma show them something they don't know don't know d-d-don't know.
Im heading out west and i'm gonna sign away my soul with a skitzer on my back imma show them something they don't know d-d-don't know.

My heart on my sleeve and a closet full of bold.
I ain't stopping till my musics on the radio.

It is not just my opinion, it is the opinion backed up by medical experts. Also, if this was something that was possible, it would be occurring at least once in a while in a medical setting where they handle fentanyl - and yet it doesn’t occur. Not at all. Here is an emergency room doctor discussing how fentanyl can be absorbed and how what happens in these videos is not because of fentanyl toxicity.

“Its a common myth that just by touching fentanyl you can absorb it, but you really can’t…It’s so poorly absorbed through the skin that pharmaceutical companies spent millions of dollars to produce a fentanyl patch - it’s a special way to deliver fentanyl - and even then it’s not vey well absorbed. But definitely powder or pills are not very well absorbed through the skin.”

“…worrying about skin absorption is not important.” [in regards to fentanyl]

“Inhaling fentanyl can “technically” cause an overdose, but it doesn’t get aerosolized very well. You can play with it - technically have it fall and you really wont breath significant amounts of it. It is not dangerous to walk in a building that has fentanyl in it - you do not need a respirator or anything like that.”

In regards to whether first responders need to worry about fentanyl: “It is not something first responders need to be worrying about.”

New York Times did a fairly in depth article into the subject matter two years ago. You can read it here.

This is another article where they discuss alleged fentanyl exposure. There are various medical experts who discuss fentanyl, how it’s absorbed, and what officers may be experiencing.

I find this hard to believe!
For real, how strong is this stuff nowadays?
Around 13 - 15 yrs or so ago, A doctor put me on methadone & after about 5 years of being a methadone, I became extremely addicted to it, I became a pretty heavy drug user.
When I would run out, I would take anything I could find to keep from being sick. Back in those days , I took fentanyl a few times & it never did anything like this to me or anyone I ever met before
I find it extremely hard to believe that just "smelling" it could do this to someone.
Is fentanyl completely different now?
The good thing is today, I am off all of that crap!
Around 13 years ago, I got off methadone and everything else. I thought I was going to die from the sickness!
I was extremely, deathly sick for over 90 days straight.
Thank God I got off of it and everything else!
Thank you Jesus!

She's sensitive to pharmaceuticals. You should see what happens when she walks into a CVS.

As an ex drug addict that has used fentanyl. I promise you that’s not how this happened. Either this officer has a problem, or she stuck her nose literally at the top of the bag while smelling. Either way, it’s a problem and we need to get this stuff off the streets!

@SpaceRanger187

fentanyl is cops kryptonite don't you know. if they even see it..boom done

@bend3rbot

Yeah, she's having a panic attack.

@SixteenTonesStudio

I also think if she was still alert, they shouldn't be administering 3 doses of Naloxone. People who are overdosing have a tendency to stop breathing. If they're still breathing and coherent, one dose should be plenty.
