In 1999 released the album "Zephyros", with some track revised from the music of Mikis Theodorakis. Overall Meaning

The song "Secret Love" by Nico is a beautiful ballad about a love that was kept a secret for so long. The singer starts off by telling us that they had a secret love, and that it used to live within the heart of the singer. However, this love became impatient and wanted to be free, so the singer confided in a friendly star, which is what dreamers often do, and told the star about how wonderful their love is and why they are so deeply in love.


Then, the singer declares that they shout about this love from the highest hills, even telling the golden daffodils about it. The singer's heart is now an open door, and the secret love is no longer a secret. The singer can now openly declare their love for this person, which they previously had to keep hidden. Interestingly, the song "Secret Love" was originally written for the 1953 film "Calamity Jane." The song was sung by Doris Day in the film, and it went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
