'Cause You Woulda Done the Same for Me
Nightstand Lyrics

We have lyrics for these tracks by Nightstand:

Endless Oh so soft tonight the bedsheets Laying on the floor tonight…
Not This Time I wake up next to you On a Sunday afternoon Turn on…
See You Up There With every laugh we share And every time you smile My heart…
Spruce My eyes are bleeding I'm self-destructing But I love you tod…

This Time of Year I wake up next to you On a Sunday afternoon Turn on…

Yep! I agree. They should stand by what they believe.

…just don’t do it at a concert of paying fans (“shut up and sing” - that’s what you were paid to do.)
…and don’t embarrass our nation overseas.

Other than that, it was great!

It’s a great I’ll never repent or apologize” song.

After than, their FANS started singing a song of their own.

How are DIXIE Chicks record sales now? Not what it was, is it?

EVERYONE can speak their mind. That doesn’t mean that shooting off in the wrong place or wrong time won’t bear consequences.

She put her personal opinions above the need of the nation for a united front to the entire world. She embarrassed us and she’s not sorry. Got it.

I’m not sorry either. I used to be a fan.

@@liannedegerness1155 I don’t have to be a fan of anyone to appreciate talent and the products they’ve produced. I can still enjoy my once-favorite songs and not pay a penny for the group to pocket. I might have paid to see them perform but there’s not a chance of that now.

But just because I’m no longer a fan doesn’t mean I’m not interested in the historical impact they made. It was bad enough for them to embarrass our nation by denigrating our president to citizens overseas. But for them to dig in their heels after the fact and not be remorseful for airing our nation’s “dirty laundry” (if you please…). Nope. They have no remorse and they don’t want to be forgiven.

So let’s let them have their way. They counted to cost and they are reaping the benefits of their own selfish pride. They still have a few fans, but most of the nation has turned them off. Still, I won’t punish myself for their misdeeds. I can still listen to the music I like without purchasing any of it, though I won’t listen to anything new.

All this aside, pop culture plays a huge role in minds and hearts of the American people, and it does leave historical marks and lessons to be learned by others. Younger generations have been oblivious to Natalie’s spit in the eye of our nation, and I hope I would be JUST as angry if I had not voted for that president. Her behavior that night on stage
was unprofessional and unpatriotic.

So why do I bother to speak of it now? So you’ll learn how Americans respond to other Americans which dishonor our country. And so younger entertainers, though they do have freedom of speech, will understand there are times and places to speak your political mind.

And onstage to people who hired you to entertain them, is NEVER a smart business move.

No you know why I care. The “Chicks” have every right to do whatever they like. (But not on my dime. As your “employer/customer” I can fire you as quickly as I hired you.)

Americans have every right to respond however they like.

Does that answer your question?

Talk about being on the right side of history. If only more people had listened to them.

yes, great world we live in. Thanks for voting for Biden. Sorry just a little tired to post a long reply as I'm recovering from an attack from migrants and can't pay for rent due to record high inflation.

Insane how country music became synonymous with conservatism...it isn't and never has been!
