In 1994, while in the United States, Wülker was influenced by acid jazz and Miles Davis.
Back in Germany, he joined the Landesjugendjazzorchester NRW, touring China in 1996 and 1998.
In 2005 Wülker established his own record label, Ear Treat Music.
