If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You'll see things in a different way
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be, better than before
Why not think about times to come
And not about the things that you've done
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be, better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Don't stop, don't you look back
Don't stop, don't you look back
Don't stop, don't you look back now
All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don't believe that it's true
I never meant any harm to you
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be, better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Don't you look back
Don't you look back now
Don't you look back
The song “Don’t Stop” by Nina Nesbitt is a cover of a popular song by Fleetwood Mac called “Don’t Stop”. The song is all about having hope and staying optimistic about the future even in the face of tough times. The opening lines of the song suggest that sometimes, waking up and facing the world can be tough and we may not feel like smiling. However, by looking at the day with a new perspective, we can see things in a different light and feel more positive.
The chorus of the song encourages listeners not to stop thinking about tomorrow and to focus on the good times that are yet to come. The lyrics suggest that yesterday is in the past and it’s important to look forward to the future with optimism. The second verse of the song advises listeners to think about the future instead of dwelling on the past or things done wrong. The lyrics encourage listeners to think about what tomorrow could bring and to stay hopeful.
The final verse of the song speaks directly to the listener and encourages them to smile. The chorus of the song repeats, reminding listeners to focus on the good times ahead and not to look back on the past.
