According to vocalist Jeff Suffering at the time, the album "quite possibly could be the best record I'll ever record." After breaking up, Suffering and guitarist John Spalding went on to form Raft of Dead Monkeys with label mate members of Roadside Monument. Suffering later went on to form the still-active Suffering & the Hideous Thieves. He also contributes to Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington, USA.

Nostalgia
Ninety Pound Wuss Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Hawhee, hawhee, hawhee,
Oh baby. and what are you saving yourself for?
Hawhee, hawhee.
Oh my little one, don't be ashamed with my heart wide open.
You can pour yourself in me.
Now there's nothing wrong with that that I can see.
Nostalgia.
I wish we could go on and on and on and on and on.
Listening to the echoes remaining.
I hear your voice inside my head.
Now I know that we've just begun.
Again I reach out my hands to you.
Staring through the shadows on you face.
I wonder are we heading to that place between nowhere and not much else?
Nostalgia.
The lyrics to Ninety Pound Wuss's song Nostalgia convey a sense of longing and uncertainty in a relationship. The repetition of "Hawhee" throughout the song adds to the ethereal and introspective mood of the song. The opening line, "Am I waiting for nothing at all?" suggests a sense of doubt and questioning about the future of the relationship. The singer seems to be unsure if their waiting and hope in the relationship is in vain.
The chorus, "Oh my little one, don't be ashamed with my heart wide open. You can pour yourself in me. Now there's nothing wrong with that that I can see. My heart feels life. Nostalgia," seems to convey a sense of acceptance and openness in the relationship. The singer encourages their partner to open themselves up and embrace the present moment. The use of the word "nostalgia" in the chorus adds to the feeling of longing and looking backwards.
The final verse finds the singer reaching out to their partner again, unsure of where the relationship is headed. The line "I wonder are we heading to that place between nowhere and not much else?" further emphasizes the sense of uncertainty and questioning in the relationship. Overall, the song Nostalgia is a beautifully melancholic exploration of longing and uncertainty in a relationship.
