They did a really great job composing this piece, it was heard through about 75% of the game and surprisingly, after hearing it hundreds of times of longer than 5 minutes at a time you don't ever get sick of it, in fact for me it made me enjoy it even more and sometimes in the game I just went out in the ship FOR this.

Back in highschool I used to keep my ipod earbuds on 24/7 and would basically have a soundtrack to my life. My favorite thing to do was put this song on as I walked to my next class. I felt like a total badass adventurer.

I remember playing this for 5 hours before going to work.. i played so much that my co workers noticed I got a red eye. This music in particular is like an escape. Just for a brief moment you forget about your problems and just sail the great sea.

One thing is clear about Zelda overworld songs: they have capturing the spirit of adventure in a song down to a science. The Ocean Theme from Wind Waker is perfect for seafaring adventurers, which is a blessing, given how often you’ll hear it while playing this game.

Unfortunately I didn't have a Gamecube. My Grandparents did, so a similar story, but I didn't go over often, and they didn't have many games. Just Luigi's Mansion, Fight Night, Sonic Adventure 2, and some Pokemon game. I think that was about it, lol.

I really dont know but in this music there is something that makes me fell Happy and Nostalgic, like the top comment this music brings me good memories indeed, I was 10 or something, and it was a lot of good times playing Wind Waker! Traveling the ocean with this music! Epic days trying to discover 100% of this game, doing side quests and exploring each island in the game! Thanks Nintendo for this awesome game!

When I found out I lost my copy of Wind Waker I just about cried man tears. Amazing game. The free roaming around the ocean first time playing was kinda annoying, but when you realize there's hundreds more islands than you think then you realize that this game had an epic concept.

I remember one summer my friend and I played this game together. I would always play Link, and he'd be Tingle. Haters can say anything bad about this game they want, but the two of us had so much fun playing this...and the last day of summer, right before school started, we obliterated Ganondorf. It was such an epic feeling.

I think Wind Waker is one of the greatest of all Zelda games, but that's just my personal opinion :) The Ocean Theme made the game seem even bigger and more... I don't know, open I guess is the word, like it was saying, "Do whatever the heck you want, there's planety of space." Love Wind Waker and this music <3

I never played Zelda but I can tell you one amazing thing from my childhood.There was a game called Arcane Adventures.Amazing story and amazing overall game.The game also ha d a really nice exploration mechanic,and when you started sailing this was one of the songs playing.Hearing this song after so much time again makes me cry because of the good memories it holds in my heart,forever.But hey the game is coming out on may of 2022 with a full revamp and full story!Plus the game was created only by 1 person and his friends who all tried to put their heart into the game!

I remember when I was 4 waking up on christmas morning at 4:00 am; not to get presents but to watch my older brother and I play Wind Waker. Next; I watched him play on an 8 hour car ride to my new home state; him playing Wand Waker the whole time. I remember being scared of the re-deads. Finally 6 years later I beat the game and we celebrated together. Thank you Wind Waker!
