The band announced their breakup on Wednesday, September 06, 2006 in a MySpace blog with the headline "The End". Here is the posted blurb: "I wish that I could be more specific about what happened. It's a long story and it doesn't matter anyhow. What matters is that the old makes way for the new. We are all still doing music in some capacity, some of us are together and some of us aren't. Bands break up, relationships change, music takes us other places. "Times Doesn't Notice" and the tours in 2005 were precious memories for all of us and YOU made that happen for No Address. Thanks so much for giving us such great experiences."
But on June 21, 2007 the band cryptically announced a possible reunion in a MySpace blog with the headline "The New Old No Address Record: Let It Out." The blog hints that a new record may be in the bands future. On July 13, 2007 Ben Lauren posted a bulletin on MySpace saying "All original members are back. A new record is being recorded beginning in September. Very exciting news!".
The current Line-up consists of:
* Ben Lauren - Vocals
* Justin Long - Guitar
* Randy Lane - Drums
* Bill Donaldson - Bass
* Phil Moreton - Guitar

No Address Lyrics

Next to a burning stove
So, so hot that the water tops off
And she tumbles down onto the floor
She holds her head in her hands
What a cruel heaven she must have
It's just a hard old world
And we both know
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
Her hand grabs a heavy lead pipe
The one that used to let her know
How hard her Daddy could hit
She remembers that on the floor
She holds her head in her hands
What a cruel heaven she must have
But it's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
And we both know
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
Heard the man for mayor did this thing
So you crossed the street to let him see
Long time since that weekend fling and he
Got to see his old sweetie all grown
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
And we both know
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
And we both know
It's alright, well it's alright
It's just a hard old world
The lyrics to No Address's "It's Alright" are thought-provoking and powerful. The opening lines reveal a woman in despair, with a sharp knife and a burning stove nearby. The imagery of a water-filled pot toppling over as she tumbles to the floor paints a picture of chaos and anguish. Holding her head in her hands, she reflects on the cruel heaven she must endure. The next verse introduces a heavy lead pipe, an instrument of punishment from her past. She recalls the forceful blows dealt by her father, who is now absent. Despite the pain and trauma, the chorus repeats a reassuring message, "It's alright, well it's alright. It's just a hard old world. And we both know it's alright, well it's alright. It's just a hard old world." The final verse shifts focus to a man who was once a lover, now a successful politician. The woman crosses the street to let him see her, revealing growth and maturity.
The song is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Despite facing unimaginable circumstances, the singer finds the strength to carry on. The repeated refrain, "It's alright," echoes a universal truth - we all face challenges in life, but we can overcome them.
