It's My Life
No Doubt Lyrics

It's funny how I find myself in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning I'd pay to lose
One half won't do
I've asked myself
How much do you commit yourself?

It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends

Funny how I blind myself
I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon
Afraid to lose
I'd tell myself what good do you do
Convince myself

It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends

I've asked myself
How much do you commit yourself?

It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends

It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends

It's my life (it's my life)
Don't you forget (don't you forget)
Caught in the crowd (caught in the crowd)
It never ends (it never ends)

It's funny how I find myself
In love with you
If I could buy my reasoning
I'd pay to lose
One half won't do
And I've asked myself
How much do you
Commit yourself
Oh, It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends (it never ends)
Funny how I blind myself
I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon
Afraid to lose
Oh, I'd tell myself
What good do you do?
Convince myself
Oh, It's my life
Don't you forget
Oh, It's my life
It never ends (it never ends)
And I've asked myself
How much do you
Commit yourself
Oh, It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends (it never ends)
Oh, It's my life
Don't you forget
Caught in the crowd
It never ends (it never ends)
Oh, It's my life (oh, Its my life)
Don't you forget (don't you forget)
Caught in the crowd (caught in the crowd)
It never ends (it never ends)

@XTIN0You really thought you did something but all you did was prove my point. I asked you to cite actual examples and instead you gave OPINIONS fuelled by your Madonna bias.

You listed vague similarities based on things both artists didn’t invent. That’s what people who compare female artists do, you don’t list actual proof of samples or fashion references you find a vague similarity neither party invented and claim the entirety of concepts were built behind them. You prove this when you compare Alejandro to Erotica and Like a prayer:

Your logic is that Erotica was in black and white, Like a prayer referenced religion. So because Gaga did this it’s proof she copied Madonna despite the fact neither of those things can be claimed by Madonna? Gaga is a catholic woman you’re aware of that right?? But apparently she can’t talk about religion because Madonna made a song referencing it when she was 3. If an artist used a black and white background does mean they’re copying Vogue?? This is the logic of biased Madonna fans.

Even when you talk about the meat dress. Anyone aware of the fashion world knows food has been incorporated into clothes by eccentrics for a long time, Gaga specifically wore a meat dress to reference her “Prime Rib of America” speech which was a protest against the military’s Don’t ask, don’t tell policy. It’s now an iconic pop culture moment

On top of all of that you claim Gaga’s earlier work is a “homage” to Madonna despite the fact she was openly channelling Bowie. She payed actual homage to his lightening stripe multiple times, even has his face tattooed on her body. Ironically her pop inspirations specifically were men like Bowie, MJ (She owns lots of his tour clothes and keeps them preserved) , Freddy Mercury etc. Yet Madonna fans are so desperate to live vicariously through Gaga’s achievements that they’ll keep pushing the idea everything she did was based on Madonna which is just a flat out lie. At least you admit Gaga is a better singer.. cough pianist cough guitarist cough actress.

It's been 16 years since their iconic hit Don't Speak hit the charts, but Gwen Stefani and her No Doubt band mate Tony Kanal still find it hard to talk about their breakup.

Gwen, 42, wrote the song after Tony broke up with her, following a seven year relationship.

The pair now say it was an extremely difficult time for them as they had to perform the song every night together, with Tony calling the torturing experience 'brutal'.

I love the plot to this video. She kills her first guy because he's a prick who takes her for granted. The second is better to her, but still doesn't seem very considerate of her feelings and boundaries. By the third one, he doesn't really do anything wrong, but by that point, she either kills him out of fear of being hurt again, or just because she enjoys it and thinks it's only a matter of time before does something to deserve it, better safe than sorry.

@Cartographist yeah If they had some sympathetic reason to it lol. It’s just more common to see women eliminating trashy men in some way because most of the time men take advantage of women because of female stereotypes.
