Campaigns based on disregard
Political campaigns focus on negative tactics instead of actually addressing the issues

The empty spaces grow and grow as the standards regress
There are more and more gaps in society where people are falling through the cracks, as the standards for success continue to lower

Keep a nation in the dark, someone's bound to start a flame
If the people are kept uninformed, eventually someone will spark a revolution out of frustration and anger

Can't make sense of the mess that's its front of me
The current situation is so chaotic and confusing that it is hard to make sense of it

Am I the enemy or just their property
Am I being treated unfairly or am I just being used as a pawn by those in power?

Wanna feel like nothings stopping me; no fear, see clear, peace or mutiny
I want to feel empowered and like nothing is holding me back, to have a clear vision for the future, and to bring about positive change through peaceful means or rebellion

Watching people as they shout their convictions
Observing others as they passionately express their beliefs

Don't know if its fact or fiction
It is difficult to discern the truth from lies or exaggerations

Pick a side to stand: to the left, to the right
People are pressured to choose between political parties and ideologies

There's a circle in the middle and they're not inside it
There are people who do not fit into either sides of the political spectrum, and they are often ignored or excluded
