Considered to be one of Australia's more successful rock bands of the late 1980s, their self-titled debut in 1987 had a series of successful singles, such as "No Lies," "Take Me Back," and "Welcome to the World." The band's second album, 1989's Touch, proved to be less successful commercially. Noiseworks disbanded in 1992, shortly after the release of the group's third album, Love Versus Money (1991).
Stevens has forged a successful solo career since Noiseworks with the albums Circle and Ain't No Life For The Faint Hearted. He went on to become the lead singer of INXS, but left after when he became frustrated with the band's lack of progress in generating new material.
2012 - The Band are in the studio recording a new album and touring later this year!

But I say let us roll, 1, 2, 3, 4...
Da-da-da-da-da-da, hoo!
Da-da-da-da-da, whoo-hoo!
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da
I see for miles and miles
It's such a magic place
I can see through sleeping eyes
A message in the air
I hope could change the world
I look all around me
I don't wanna change my view
'Cause I've been dreaming of love
Baby, I tell you
If you need, whoo, a little bit of loving, come on
I'll show you what to do
If you need a little bit of loving, come on
I'll show you what to do, come on
Da-da-da-da-da-da, whoo-hoo!
Da-da-da-da-da, whoo-hoo!
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da
I can see for miles and miles
I got it all worked out
I wanna take you there
We'll stand upon the mountain top
Where we can scream and shout
And no one else will care
Well, I'm only dreaming, oh, but it feels so good
I wanna dream a little harder
Make it all come true
Whoo, a little bit of loving, come on
I'll show you what to do
(For miles and miles)
If you need a little bit of loving, come on
(For miles and miles)
I'll show you what to do, come on
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da, whoo-hoo!
(Sing it!)
Da-da-da-da-da
(Come on, boy, here we go!)
Here we go, chance, take a chance
I can see for mile and miles
Ooh, yeah!
Can ya feel it!
We all need it, need it
Yeah, we all need it
Come on, world, you just gotta believe it
Can't y'all feel it
Can't y'all feel it
I can see for miles and miles, yeah
Come on...
"Miles And Miles" is a song by Noiseworks that talks about the desire to have a different perspective on life. While some people choose to tread high above the world, the singer prefers to roll with the punches and experience everything that life has to offer. The song opens with a catchy melody and upbeat rhythm that immediately sets the tone for what is to follow.
The lyrics go on to talk about the singer's ability to see for miles and miles when floating high above the world. He describes this feeling as a magical place, and he can see through sleeping eyes. The message that he hopes could change the world is in the air, but he does not want to change his view. The singer has been dreaming of love, and he is inviting everyone to come along and experience a little bit of it with him.
