The name is taken from a wasteland within the perimeters of their hometown. Signposted but nothing more than 20sq ft of tarmac and a mound of rubble, the band saw it as an opportunity to facilitate the imagination for what might be. The numbing reality that was eventually offered, created music that reflected their observations.
Songs like Walking The Glass Mile and Down On Me lay testament to this. The band has had imperative line up changes over its three year span, it even began life as a five piece only to realise that deadwood can only float for so long. The unit now stands firmly on its feet as four. Gary Murphy (vocals, guitar) Paul Ford (guitar) Sam Farrell (bass) and Ben Hallett (drums).
First generation citizens of their suburban social catastrophe all came together through a decrepit hug of what still is a dwindling music scene there and despite the fact they were in various lesser guises, it planted a seed that would in later years develop into something special.
A colossal, scything sound standing nothing short of gigantic. The music carves intrusive hard rock riffs into your bones.

I've heard Molecule 01+ Mandarin is amazing too, smells like a fresh mandarin with added woody notes
Melissa Nacional
So down to try that!
Isaac Dixon
My most complimented layering is actually Escentric 02 + Mont Blanc Starwalker. And Starwalker is basically Molecule 01 with a bamboo note.
IMZ
Possibly Molecule 01+Mandarin might marry more well with Afternoon Swim given that it has almost realistic mandarin paired in with the OG M-01 smell
PJ Jones
molecule 01 is my hands down favorite frag and i have 150 frags... the comps are never ending no lie and you are right once the wind hits you the frag shines!!!
Jeff Dugger
Sounds like I need to get me some of that Molecule 01 and wear just it, then layer it with some fragrance.
My scent of the day is Wūlóng Chá. And I may layer it tomorow at work with Hundred Silent Ways just to see how they play
Bryce Chapman
Dope video as usual, Melissa. That’s pretty cool to know about the LV discount. Thanks for the heads up!

I also did a skin test of the "plus mandarin" M01 a few months back and that's nice too - it turns a straight up citrus scent into something with reasonable performance

Cornell Harper
