I hurry to my blue heaven
Just a turn to the right, you'll find a little white light
Will lead you to my Blue Heaven
You'll see a smiling face, a fireplace, a cozy little room
A little nest that nestles where the roses bloom
Just Marley and me, and baby makes three
You'll see a smiling face, a fireplace, a cozy little room
A little nest that nestles where the roses bloom
Just Marley and me, and baby makes three
We're happy in my blue heaven
So happy in my blue heaven
The song "My Blue Heaven" by Norah Jones is a romantic ode to finding happiness in the simple things in life, within the comfortable confines of a home filled with love. The lyrics delve into the warm, welcoming ambiance of a humble abode that lies at the end of a small path lit with a white light. The singer is in a hurry to reach this little slice of heaven, which is adorned with roses in greater abundance, and shared with her partner Marley and their tiny baby. The song almost seems like a musical invitation to join the singer and her loved ones in a home away from home, where all of their worries are banished, and happiness reigns supreme.
The lyrics bask in the soothing familiarity of the room, which is livened up by the smoldering fireplace and, most of all, the smiling face of the person who makes everything worthwhile. The comforting image painted in the song is one of loving companionship, which is so pure and intense that even the little bluebird chirps with cheerfulness, and the whippoorwills call with joy. The enduring theme of "My Blue Heaven" is that life's most elusive treasure, happiness, is not found in the fantastical or grandiose, but rather in the beauty of simplicity and home.

Lyric is Molly and me and baby makes three
@poncela50
Is right. Gene Austin say "Molly and me...", for example. Frank Sinatra say "Molly and me..", for example. But Norah Jones say "Marley and me..."
Thanks for listening.
