And daffodils have their fun
Where the cares of the day seem to slowly fade away
And the glow of the evening sun
Peace, when the day is done
If I go there real late, let my mind meditate
On everything to be done
Then the answers are sure to come
Don't have to worry none
When you find peace of mind, leave your worries behind
Don't say that it can't be done
With a new point of view, life's true meaning comes to you
And the freedom you seek is won
Peace is for everyone
Peace is for everyone
Peace is for everyone
The song “Peace” by Norah Jones is a soulful representation of finding and achieving inner peace. The lyrics depict a place where the sycamores grow and daffodils have their fun, creating an atmosphere where the cares of the day slowly fade away with the glow of the evening sun. This resonates as a peaceful utopia that one could escape to, away from the busyness of life.
The lyrics also illustrate the idea that in order to achieve peace, one must be introspective and let their conscience be their guide. By meditating and searching deep within oneself, the answers will come to light. Jones sings, “When you find peace of mind, leave your worries behind, don't say that it can't be done.” This serves as an inspiring message to listeners, reminding them that inner peace is attainable, and it is up to the individual to achieve it by changing their perspective and leaving their worries behind.
In conclusion, Peace is a beautifully crafted song that demonstrates the idea of inner peace and encourages listeners to seek it. Norah Jones’s soulful voice and thoughtful lyrics make for a memorable listening experience.

Thanks. Did Horace Silver write the lyrics as well? This is just fabulous - never heard it with lyrics before and she does a great job.
