The group is not an ordinary band, but a league of four vocalists, who are all frontmen of successful heavy metal bands. They wanted to create something special together and came up with an idea of arranging 80's classics to metal versions - sung by all the four together.
The tracks from their current album, "Reborn", include legendary pieces such as "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight" by Cutting Crew, "Take On Me" by A-ha, "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey, "Wanted Dead Or Alive" by Bon Jovi, "My Way" by Frank Sinatra, "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins, "Brothers In Arms" by Dire Straits and "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel.
Song arrangements by Aleksi Parviainen except "I Just Died In Yours Arms Tonight" and "Don't Bring Me Down" by J.Ahola and "Brothers In Arms" by Mikko P. Mustonen.
My Way

And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
But now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh no, no, not me
I did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way
Yes, I did it my way, ah!
I did it my way
Yes, it was my way
The song "My Way" by Northern Kings is a cover of Frank Sinatra's classic hit. The lyrics speak of the end of the singer's life and his reflection upon it. The opening lines of the song state that the end is near, and the final curtain is about to be drawn. The singer then speaks directly to the listener, assuring them that he will be honest and clear about his life.
The singer then goes on to reflect upon his life, stating that he has lived it to the fullest and travelled every possible avenue. He declares that he did it his way, indicating that he lived life authentically and independently. The lyrics then address regrets, making it clear that even the singer had some, but they were not significant enough to mention. He did what he had to do and saw it through without exception.
In the concluding lines, the singer declares that he faced all the challenges head-on and stood tall, always doing things his way. The lyrics suggest that a life lived freely and authentically is the most fulfilling way to achieve personal satisfaction. The song's upbeat and positive tone creates a sense of joy and gratitude for life, no matter how it played out.

The older I get the more I appreciate this song. I interpret it as a man who did their best at something and failed but because they tried their best they're at peace with the failure. A rare proud defeat. I could be taking it wrong but it helps me stand tall even through my mistakes.
@ShiveringIsles
Now this version you can play at my funeral.

Taygun89, If people didn't cover songs like these in a more modern fashion, the songs in question would fade into obscurity, never to be heard again....but with guys like northern kings covering a song like this - assures a new audience will learn of this wonderful song....and it won't be lost to time.
@hyost1784
Only Northern Kings could cover a very popular Frank Sinatra classic and literally do it their way and out do Frank Sinatra himself. Mad Props to them. Awesome!
