1) Northside is a band from the suburbs of Blackley and Moston in North Manchester, England. Founded in 1989 by Warren "Dermo" Dermody (vocals/lyrics) and Cliff Ogier (bass), the band released their debut and only album, "Chicken Rhythms," on Factory Records in 1991. Northside was part of the 1990s Madchester/baggy/indie-rave scene. Michael Upton (guitar) and Paul Walsh (drums) later joined the band, replacing Timmy Walsh, who played guitar in their first single, "Shall We Take A Trip." The single was banned by the BBC for its references to drugs, but it broke into the UK Singles Chart Top 50 despite the lack of airplay.
Northside's next single, "My Rising Star," was released in October 1990 and reached No. 32 on the chart. "Chicken Rhythms" peaked at No. 19 in June 1991, produced by Ian Broudie. In 1991, the band scored a minor hit in the United States when their single "Take 5" reached No. 5 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The band split up after their label Factory Records declared bankruptcy in 1992, despite having recorded a second album.
In 2003, Dermo and Ogier formed Silent Partners, while Walsh played with Manchester rock band Sons of the Stage. In 2006, Northside played gigs in Leeds and Manchester, and the album "Chicken Rhythms" was re-issued on LTM Recordings. Dermo formed V Thirteen in March 2011. In 2014, Northside reunited with all four original members and toured England. In 2017, Dermo released his debut single "Vultures" on Eromeda Records and recorded his debut solo album set for a 2018 release.
2) Northside, a trap artist from Costa Rica.

It'll blow ya mind, do it every time.
It'll make ya pay, it'll make ya say.
I'm gonna make ya pay, I'm gonna make ya say. Cause.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
Never gonna guess what time it is,
Never gonna guess what time it is.
Take 5! Take 5!
It's time to be real, and say what you feel
What's the image? In your passing image.
It'll blow your mind, do it every time.
It'll blow your mind, do it every time.
I'm gonna make you pay. I'm gonna make you say.
I'm gonna make you pay. I'm gonna make you say. Cause.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
Never gonna guess what time it is,
Never gonna guess what time it is.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
Never gonna guess what time it is,
Never gonna guess what time it is.
Take 5! Take 5! Take 5! Take 5!
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.
You blown it, I know it.

Take 5!
The lyrics of Northside's "Take 5" seem to be cryptic and somewhat mischievous. The first two lines, "It'll blow ya mind, do it every time" basically means that whatever the singer has done or said has caught the listener off guard and has had a profound effect on them. It's almost like the singer could do no wrong and has the power to manipulate people to his will. The following lines, "It'll make ya pay, it'll make ya say, I'm gonna make ya pay, I'm gonna make ya say," suggest that the singer is enjoying the power trip and is determined to make the listener comply and do his bidding. The repeated phrase "You blown it, I know it" reinforces the idea that the listener has made a mistake or misjudgment of some sort, and the singer is reveling in their downfall.
The chorus changes the tone slightly, to a more playful, taunting one. The refrain "Never gonna guess what time it is, Take 5!" seems to be an ironic response to the listener's mistake or failure, like saying that they are so off-base that they couldn't even guess the time correctly. The line "It's time to be real, and say what you feel, What's the image? In your passing image" suggests that the singer is encouraging the listener to be truthful and speak their mind, but also challenges them to see themselves for who they really are. The final verse repeats the earlier themes of blowing the listener's mind and making them pay and say, with the added addition of the "64 46 BMW" line, which could be a reference to a car or a code of some sort.
