Thank you for this very informative video.
Could you please tell me what could potentially happen when you apply Thio more than once to someones hair and why it is not recommended? (with an interval of months from each application)
All information I found about this in my language only tells me not to apply more than once to hair that has already been relaxed.
I'm a man and and it is very difficult to apply Thio only to the new hair that has grown. Also, it is much more noticeable when the original hair is starting to grow because my hair is not that long.

I thought you world say how the buffers are used to make the difference between lye relaxer and no-lye relaxers. The relaxers are buffered with calcium and sodium. That's usually the difference. No-lye relaxer is ordinarily buffered with calcium. The lye relaxer is buffered with sodium. (Old school knowledge). Old school chemistry.

1)How chemical treatment such as permanent straightening, hair dye allow humidity to affect our hair?
I mean after this treatment our hair feels so smooth and shiny.then how humidity can still affect the hair? Doesn’t chemical treatment make our hair water resistant as it contain emollient, humectant and some conditioning agents along with thio?
And these can repel water right?

Great question. Regardless of the treatment, the hair always reacts to humidity, even if it is a little frizz, there is a change in texture. To do an experiment, straighten your hair, turn on your shower in the bathroom to humidify the place, and just stay there to observe the change. I traveled to Caribbean Islands, and was a cruise often, and I did not bother to straighten my hair because it reverted back to curly whatever I did, or frizzed up once it was straightened, Even with chemicals, the hair could absorb moisture, plus chemicals do soften the hair and weaken or change the disulfide bonds to be susceptible to more damage, allowing the cuticle to be open to abserb more humidity.
