"The Night" by Not Available is a song that tells the story of a man who is searching for a treasure that he has been dreaming of every night. The song starts with him riding on his new bike through the summer night as he watches the skies and feels proud. He has a pirate card from the underworld that is old and dusty, and it takes him to the place he has always wanted to go. He takes ten steps to the right before turning around and taking eight steps to the west, where he discovers golden ground. It is the night when he will find what he has been dreaming of for so long.
The singer then tells us that he smashes his spade deep into the ground to discover his treasure. He finds a chest deep in the ground and pulls it out. Ecstasy takes over his whole brain, and his smile grows to his ears. He realizes that his poor bike will have to carry the tons and tons he has found tonight. Finally, he rides home as a wealthy man, King of the Day, and he knows the reason why - Gold!
