wanipokea kwa uzuri siku zote
wakati sina wanipa nitakacho husiti
nisemacho kwako sawa waniombea mungu
moyoni mwangu najua nina rafiki huyu wa kweli
hakuna yule ambaye atakuja kati yetu
wakati sina wanipa nitakacho husiti
nisemacho kwako sawa waniombea mungu
Ooh kuna watu na viatu duniani
ooh kuna watu wasiopenda maendeleo
ooh ukiwa nacho chawauma ndani kwa ndani
achana nao, waepuke haraka sana
Hivi majuzi nilipata kazi nzuri nikaja kukueleza
mtu wa kwanza nilifikiria ni wewe rafiki yangu
nilifurahi na kuruka na kutaja jina lake mungu
nikikuangalia mwako usoni usoni umejisononesha
Ukaanza kusonya ukirusha mikono
sura umeikunja kumbe hukufurahi
mafanikio yangu nilikuachi mimi kuja kukueleza
x2
Mtu wa kwanza mimi kumfikiria ni we rafiki yangu
Ooh kuna watu na viatu duniani
ooh kuna watu wasiopenda maendeleo
ooh ukiwa nacho chawauma ndani kwa ndani
achana nao, waepuke haraka sana
(repeat to end)
In Nyota Ndogo's song Watu na Viatu, the singer expresses her gratitude and love towards a dear friend. The lyrics convey a sense of appreciation for the friend's constant support, even during tough times. The singer believes that this friend is a true and loyal companion who will never come between them. She seeks her friend's prayers and blessings, assuring them that any words she speaks are honest and from the heart. She trusts her friend unconditionally, knowing that they will always be there for her.
The chorus talks about the existence of people who are envious and not interested in progress. These are people who see someone else's success and are filled with jealousy and spite. The singer advises listeners to stay away from such people and avoid getting hurt by their negative energy. She warns that success can be painful when others do not celebrate it or support it. For this reason, it is best to surround oneself with positive people who genuinely want to see others succeed.
