I finally found this song after years of searching for it. I remember sitting in my car and listening to it in college and crying. I knew I had misinterpreted the lyrics but for me it so adequately described the feelings of depression. This song came on a few moments ago. It's bringing me full circle. This song particularly holds a lot of memories. This was how I felt during my marriage. I always turned the car around and came back "home" sometimes gone 5 minutes, may be 5 days. I looked it up, it came out in 2008. Alot of feels with this song. Reminds me of times of some abuse and mental breakdown in the rain from triggers...to almost taking my life. Held on for my son, by God's grace I'm still here and being strong to never give up. Through all the pain and hurt I have always had a smile on my face until I reached all I thought I could handle and sought help. Knowing what I know about me now I'm all the stronger and realizing hidden talents. I turned the car around and found my voice, I turned the car around back to a growing relationship of almost 20 years.

I remember when this came out. I was in Elementary school and my walls in my room were painted some fancy form of pink. Frequently, I would fall asleep with this on the radio in my room, which was technically my mom’s radio, but I had it in my room because that’s where it would fit best in that apartment. The walls were pink because we had a nice landlady who took requests for the wall color, and at the time, I wanted pink walls, so she painted my room pink, specifically it was something like “Hawaiian pink” or “tropical pink” or “Tahitian pink” or “island pink” or “tropical orchid pink” or something like that. Some fancy form of pink. Super nice memories.

I remember back in Fall 2008, this song right here used to be played like crazy on the radio along with Viva La Vida by Coldplay, Hot & Cold by Katy Perry, So What by P!nk, and Single Laddies by Beyonce, and many more amazing songs.. I remember seeing this band in concert two years ago having no idea who they were and I had just suffered a hard but well needed break up. They performed amazingly and really made me think why was I sad? I was good without her and I fell in love with this amazing and unique band. They helped me through a hard time and you can't put a dollar sign on that. :-)
