El Ritme de la Gent
Obrint Pas Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Sempre presents
Sempre i més forts
In Obrint Pas's song "El Ritme de la Gent", the opening lines urge the listener to pay attention to the rhythm of the melody and the everyday beat that we create for ourselves. The song speaks against the music industry, specifically the rock industry, for counting them out or seeing them as irrelevant. However, the song is hopeful and argues that the emotions and sentiments that music creates within us cannot be destroyed or erased. These sentiments are always present in the rhythm of the people.
The lyrics imply that music is more than just a source of entertainment, but a way of life and has the power to change and empower people. It also stresses the importance of staying true to oneself and not letting the music industry define you or your passion for music. The song encourages individuals to keep playing and creating music from the heart, despite what the industry may say.
Overall, "El Ritme de la Gent" is a song that celebrates the passion and resilience of the people and their love for music. It speaks against the commercialization of music and encourages listeners to keep the music alive by staying true to their emotions and sentiments.
