We are vigilant and aware of the lies and deceptions we have been fed, but we still hold onto hope and faith.

We ask why they hate us, but they laugh right in our faces
We question why there is so much hate directed towards our community, but those in power do not take our concerns seriously.

And thats why im amazed, they try to act like they aint affraid
It is ironic and surprising that those in power try to act fearless when they should be afraid of the power of our collective voice.

Cause last night we stayed awake, strapped like we came to stay
We have come prepared and ready to fight for our rights and will not back down.

Packed tight like a dang bargade, and we black white, and we gay and straight, and we rolling
We come from all walks of life and backgrounds, united as one force to bring about change.

We are determined to have our message heard, no matter what it takes.

Do not believe the lies perpetuated by those in power, especially when it comes at the expense of the suffering of others.

It is unacceptable for those in power to cover up their own wrongdoing and to let innocent lives be lost in the process.

We are constantly faced with situations where our choices are limited or taken away entirely.

Despite these challenges, we remind ourselves and others that each individual has their own unique voice and can be heard.

I am using my voice to inspire and motivate the next generation to stand up for what is right, and those who oppose us should step aside as we continue to fight for our beliefs.

This moment is impactful and meaningful to me.

I have come to understand the reality of why we exist here and our purpose.

Today is the day
This day is significant and marks a critical moment in time for our movement.

It is painful and wrong to see discrimination against those who are different.
